I used it at work and it kept my coffee hot for hours. Most days, I would let it sit for an hour to cool down as the coffee would get cold quickly in a regular cup. I took out for a week and my cup was missing off my desk when I returned. So I bought another one (I lock this one inside my desk from now on). Protect your stuff!
