--- SETUP --- The Contixo drone is a quick setup. The drone is already assembled as a single unit. It comes with preinstalled blades, a mostly charged battery pack, and a fully charged remote control. Still, charge everything before use. --- FEATURES --- Flight time at full charge is 26 minutes, 1080P recording, app connection, remote controlled, automatic flight options (circle, hover, follow user), auto land, full 360 control, max altitude of 120 meters, wind speed resistance 17 MPH, field of view 110 degrees. --- EXPECTATIONS and PERFORMANCE --- This drone is on the more affordable side. It is a great introductory drone to practice and learn the nuances of drone flying. I went to fly this drone at a parking lot of a park near my home. Once I connected the drone to the app, I was able to control the drone using the included remote control. The remote control has a cradle for the phone. I am using an iPhone 15 Max Pro with a slim case. The phone was able to fit, but it was too heavy for the phone mount to stay angled for comfortable viewing. Instead, the phone mount lies as far back as it can due to the phone weight. I would have preferred if I could choose the viewing angle. As a result, I had to hold the controller lower than I would have liked. The remote control is very responsive to the drone. However, the drone does have trouble hovering with light wind. I had to constantly adjust and readjust the drone to capture the footage I wanted. Everytime I readjusted the drone, I would record shaky camera movement, so it made it difficult to get a smooth capture that requires manual movement. Recording footage from up close looks grainy and unclear. From afar, the image looks better because you aren’t focused on the small details of being up close. Taking up close pictures is also not ideal with this drone. This drone doesn’t include a memory card. When buying one, the maximum amount of storage it supports is 128 gigabytes, so that’s something to be aware of. After saving the video to the memory card, it also automatically saves it to your phone's photos app, which is great! This drone does not have collision prevention, so be extra careful with your investment. It does, however, have automatic return, which is helpful if you have flown your drone to a space you cannot see. On the app, you can see how high your drone is and a map showing you or its approximate location. On the iPhone, some of the buttons needed to access all features are blocked by the iPhone’s front view camera bar. Even if I flipped the phone to the other side, a different set of buttons would end up being blocked. --- APPROVAL --- Overall, this is a great starter drone to initiate your drone flying abilities and practice for drone certification in your area. However, for major projects, I wouldn’t rely on this drone.

anyone looking for an easy to operate drone. you have found it. the Contixo F28 GPS drone was made for any one no matter 1st time operator or a master operator. Easy to use. The camera and GPS are perfect. The price is crazy cheap. Do not let the low price push you away from this purchase. perfect for a beginner!!!!

I was very excited to get this Contixo F28 drone that has so many features that I was looking for like the Follow me, selfie mode, time lapse photography, GPS control, way point and orbit mode, and of course the 2K camera, however my experience was not as good as I was hoping for. I have used other drones in the past but setting this drone for the first time was a bit more difficult than I had anticipated, you’d first have to calibrate the drone clockwise for the first flight so the GPS could work and also move the control sticks so it can pair with phone and the control. After following all the instructions, charged the batteries of the drone and the control, there was no instructions of where could I put a microSD card, but I found it inside the drone where the battery goes in. I set of the drone on the orange mat include, calibrate the drone and waited for the lights to change steady as it stated on the instructions, then downloaded the Contixo app, the drone turned on and I was able to flight the drone in my backyard, however the drone camera and the app never worked or paired with my iPhone. I looked for troubleshooting and reset my wifi network and the drone , tried again and I was able to flight the drone but the camera never connected to my iPhone, it was showing the drone disconnected from my phone and the app. This drone have good potential but the app and the paring compatibility is not good enough for all phone devices, hopefully it’s a glitch on the app or there’s other ways to get this drone camera to work on my iPhone.

Decent for first time drone pilot and easy to use. Mine unfortunately broke and needs a new motor after one use due to a fall it should have been able to withstand better. But when operating normally, had decent power and easy to learn controls and connected to my iPhone (most recent iOS) with no issue. Just wish was little more study but get what you get for the low cost. Was very impressed with the 2k camera.

I was excited to get this drone and start playing with it. Upon opening, the first thing I noticed is how light the remote control is. I didn’t know how to feel about that since most of the drones I have had in the past has some weight to it, not heavy but feels better built. Opening the battery cover, you will see a rechargeable battery and option to use AAA batteries. I thought it is a nice option but the drone itself is just rechargeable batteries only. It did not come with a manual but I found it on their website. I have tried many different ways to get the controller and drone to pair up. It is supposed to be paired out of the box. I have tried to reset it. I am not sure which combination worked but finally I was able to get the propellers to spin. That is an indicator that the drone and controller are communicating. I did a test flight in my backyard. At first, the controllers seem to work as expected. As I got higher, the commands became inconsistent. I had to adjust quickly as the drone kept flying further and further. I got a little nervous but was able to figure out which way to turn the joystick. I got it to back and began to lower it. Again, the controls were a bit inconsistent. The drone drifts also when you are not inputting anything on the controller. With GPS enable drones, they should just hold still. It reminded me of the Nintendo Switch controller drift. But the drone drifts in a direction a lot. I had to quickly adjust again and regain control. It eventually landed because it hit the side of my house because of it drifting. I tried to do a compass calibration but could not get it to work. I have tried to do a factory reset and the indicators that is supposed to happen based on the instruction manual were not happening. Now for the phone pairing. I cannot get it to pair. I am using a Pixel 9 Pro. I got it connected to the wifi but it kept saying “Device not connect”. The controller clamp to keep the phone in place also hits the volume button. So when I have the phone centered, my phone just brings up the volume slider constantly. I would have to move my phone off-centered so that the clamp does not hit the volume buttons. Even if I was able to reset this drone and figured out the controls, the design of it needs to be improved. It may work better if you don’t use a phone with it. But there a features that a phone will give you. I do not recommend this drone based on the experience I got with it.

I wanted to gift this drone to one of my family members as his birthday gift, but he never used any drone before, so I thought I'd get a drone that's not that pricey. I checked the comments before placing the order feeling a bit concerned, but I decided to give it a try eventually. It was delivered very quickly after placing the order, he was very happy after I gave it to him. Given that he hadn't used a drone before so he followed the instructions step by step from the manual, which were charging the battery, downloading the app, powering up the drone, and continuing with the pairing process, calibration process, which looked a bit complicated but it's really not that hard. We didn’t encounter any issues with the app, as some other reviewers mentioned. The connection was smooth, and controlling the drone after takeoff was easy with the remote. Even though the drone looks plastic, it’s surprisingly sturdy. He accidentally crashed it into a tree in our yard, but it only got a few scratches and kept flying without any issues. We played with it for about 20 minutes, and we’re very satisfied with it overall. Hopefully, he practices more, after all trimming branches was harder than flying the drone!

Ease of use , camera good quality, and excellent price

Drone operates as described. Pro model has significant improvements with added ease of use features, higher resolution camera, and a display screen on control unit. Battery life of about 20 minutes and 3 hour charge time makes having backup batteries necessary. Carrying case very convenient and holds everything necessary for flight. Startup procedure quite detailed but must be followed precisely to operate.

I received this F28 Drone today, my first impression is that the product itself has exceeded its price. I used to own 2 drones, without exception, they all came with very cheap packaging. This drone has a strong and sturdy carrying case, and also a plastic film wrapped around the case, making it a high class gift look. I can't wait to unbox and try it after receiving it because this drone doesn't require registration. With the help of the instruction manual, I managed to have the drone in the air pretty quickly. The camera is crystal clear with 2K quality, allowing me to check my roof. There was a breeze but the drone was flying steady. I wasn't flying that long because I didn't have the battery fully charged first, it landed at the spot where it took off after the battery went out, although it may landed a few steps away from the exact took off spot (There's a landing pad included with the drone, I had it took off from it so it's obvious), however I think that's completely normal to me. I am very happy about the first flight experience and will be taking it with me on my next travel with a fully charged battery.

It's good for beginners, easy to use, and the image quality is good... it's a good drone.

Good fun for an entry drone. Fairly easy to set up! I got it as a birthday gift for my dad to mess around with, and he's enjoyed a lot of the features, but it can take a little bit to get used to flying it.

From unboxing to the first flight, everything was smooth and easy. The app is intuitive, the controller feels great, and the drone flies very steadily—perfect for beginners. You don’t need to know any complicated settings, just press a button to start recording. For the best resolution, I recommend using a memory card directly in the drone. The GPS return-to-home is very accurate. It really removes all the barriers to flying, letting you simply enjoy the fun of flying and creating.

As a beginner, my biggest fear was crashes, but this drone has been a lifesaver! Its durability is incredible. During practice, I clipped a few branches and only ended up with some scratches, with no impact on the flight. One time I even hit a house, but after simply replacing the propellers, it was flying again. Swapping the blades is super easy, just unscrew, replace, and tighten. It really gives me the confidence to fly.

I was impressed with the performance of this drone for the price. It's a great starter drone for both adults and kids to get into the hobby. It does everything it claims to do and it does it good, not like some of the cheap junk you find claiming a thousand different features and most of them barely work. I would purchase this again, no regrets

The drone itself performs really well. It is easy to control, has good flight stability thanks to the GPS, and the brushless motors work great. The carrying case is also a nice bonus. However, I am not very happy with the video and photo quality. The images are not as sharp as expected for a 2K camera. Good as a starter drone for flying, but don't expect professional footage.

My first drone and first RC device. I bought it to do a survey of our roof following some storms since I am not as young and limber as I used to be. It was pretty easy to operate, even for a rookie, even though I did make some mistakes. I have had good and fast service to all of my questions and getting any needed parts. My skills have improved and I love using the drone as a part of my other hobby, photography. This has been a great addition to my photography equipment and a very useful tool for assessing storm damage. I look forward to many hours of using this drone.

This low end drone does everything you want and need. There are two drawbacks that might concern other customers, the battery last about 30 minutes and you have to use your phone. It does not have a separate monitor. It would be 5 stars if it did.

This is my first time flying a GPS drone, I thought the setup would be complicated, but it wasn’t, just an extra 10 seconds for compass calibration. The build quality is excellent and feels full of tech! The 2K video looks really clear, and the return-to-home feature is amazing, I never have to worry about losing the drone when the battery runs low.

Great drone for the price! The range is very impressive and is extremely stable and easy to fly. It syncs with smartphones and hovers perfectly

I love this drone I’ve made some really cool videos and have wrecked it into tree limbs and all sorts of things with no issues it has survived through my drone learning process now I’m ready to get a $1000 4k drone next
