Buyer Beware: Drone does not connect to newer iOS

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After turning on the drone/remote, then downloading the app, the next step is to connect your phone to the drone’s wifi. My iPhone does not show the drone’s wifi as an option. I followed the troubleshooting steps to no avail (turn off your phone and turn it back on… uninstall and reinstall the app… turn off and turn on wifi). After doing more research this is apparently a known issue. Contixo customer support admitted that their app is not compatible with newer iOS, and they do not have a timeline to fix. And for many who can connect the app, the camera doesnt work. The drone does not operate without properly connecting to the app. Big time waste of money. I will have to return the drone and hopefully avoid the restocking fee since it’s defective.

It has hit a few trees and walls and bent the propellers but comes with spare ones. Some programming issues with having it follow you. Working on it when weather is better. Not bad

Avoid this Drone if you have Android

I followed all instructions including downloading the app to my phone from the google play store and from their own site. The drone would never connect to the app to transmit video and to accept commands from the app. I have a S25 Ultra so I know its not the phone. Their support is non existent.
