Installed on AM3+ and AM4. On am3+ it gave some hassle but on the AM4 it was pretty easy. On my AM3+ temps went down about 20c on my FX8350 (yes I know dinosaur) and idles on low 30 to mid 20s. Easy to make a pull push config as all the necessary hardware comes with the cooler. Even thermal paste. Did I say this looks amazing?

Used this to cool an i7 10700k, kept temps cool, and was able to get a decent overclock out of the CPU as well. I ended up adding an additional CPU fan for a push-pull effect on the heat sync for additional cooling. Luckily cooler master includes a PWM splitter in the box if you want to add an additional fan.

The heat sink fit perfectly. It did take a little effort to get the spring loaded screws to attach but ultimately it worked out.

Needed to take my H115i AIO off a work computer to use on a new build so I needed something inexpensive but effective as a replacement. The Hyper 212 was an easy install and it is keeping an I7-4790k cool at 31C. Great buy and a great cooler. Even came with thermal paste!

Does exactly what is advertised, and is a huge upgrade from the fan that came with my prebuilt pc. As far as i can tell the fan is rather quite. Set up can be a little confusing so to having hookups for both amd and intel cpus but is you figure it out its super easy to instal

bought this for a Ryzen build. works great and in my opinion looks way better than the stock fan and supplies and keeps the cpu cooler. Best to install when first building your pc, way easier to install on motherboard outside of the pc than trying to install it with the board in the case.

Surprisingly simple and easy to install and works wonderfully. Currently using a 5600x with acceptable load temps. Overclocking isn't recommended in my situation but I would recommend this cooler in terms of size, reliability, affordability and simplicity.

Great cooler for the price. I put this on my R5 3600 and under load it's significantly less than the stock cooler. A gaming session or benchmark will keep it under 70 Celsius when before it would easily be 85-90 Celsius. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an upgrade on a budget.

It has a nice minimalist look that matches well in my custom PC build (the case has a clear window on one side). More importantly, it seems to provide good cooling for my build. I have an airflow case, and the fan works well in this setup.

The Hyper 212 has a well earned reputation as a very reliable budget cooler, and the black edition is the same is all but looks. Very easy to install, comes with the mounting hardware for a second fan and does it's job keeping my r7 1700 plenty cool for gaming

The Hyper 212 is probably the most used air cooler in PC history. For it's price point and performance/quality, it's no wonder why. This is a nice deviation from it, that has a good aesthetic that will compliment most builds perfectly.

I have used many different Cooler Master coolers in the past and the Hyper 212 series has always been a cost-effective and performance-effective cooler. I have never had to worry about my CPU overheating on over the 5 different systems that I've used these types of coolers on. Keep up the great work Cooler Master!

Rebuilt my computer and got a 5900x, which loves to get hot. Bought this and having never actually applied thermal paste or put a cooler onto a CPU, I can tell you as nerve racking as it can be because you assume you are going to screw up somehow, it was easy.

For giggles I replaced the chip on an old HP to a quad core and it sent the bios and cpu fan crazy! So again for giggles I threw in this beast (and yes it is a beast) and was amazed! This is now so quiet I was able to put it in my daughters bedroom and she games with it without a peep!
