Good cooler. Made a big difference in the CPU temperature. Bulky but quiet.

It has a nice minimalist look that matches well in my custom PC build (the case has a clear window on one side). More importantly, it seems to provide good cooling for my build. I have an airflow case, and the fan works well in this setup.

The Hyper 212 has a well earned reputation as a very reliable budget cooler, and the black edition is the same is all but looks. Very easy to install, comes with the mounting hardware for a second fan and does it's job keeping my r7 1700 plenty cool for gaming

For giggles I replaced the chip on an old HP to a quad core and it sent the bios and cpu fan crazy! So again for giggles I threw in this beast (and yes it is a beast) and was amazed! This is now so quiet I was able to put it in my daughters bedroom and she games with it without a peep!

Rebuilt my computer and got a 5900x, which loves to get hot. Bought this and having never actually applied thermal paste or put a cooler onto a CPU, I can tell you as nerve racking as it can be because you assume you are going to screw up somehow, it was easy.

perfectly appropriate and functions without a hitch

I have an atx desktop rig with a Ryzen 3600. I'm a previous owner of a Hyper 212 EVO aftermarket cooler, and it has served me well. This product is identical in nearly all aspects, except the fan style and metal coating. The Hyper 212 is a great value for air cooling.

This is a high quality cooling fan that looks good and is quiet. Even better is the revised mounting from the regular Hyper 212. This mount is two separate pieces that screw individually onto the fan base, then screw into the motherboard bracket. No more goofy x-bracket!

Used this on an i7-4470K to replace a AIO water cooler that gave up the ghost. Easy to install in about 5-10 minutes. I did notice that thicker fans didn't really fit the unit with the included bracket. With two fans on it, never had a temp over 60C.

Awesome CPU cooler, keeps temps low on Ryzen 5 5600G, Coolermaster is the best brand on the market for coolers. Solid design with heat pipes and copper core.

The heat sink fit perfectly. It did take a little effort to get the spring loaded screws to attach but ultimately it worked out.

Performs well on an older system. Worth noting that the installation is not the same as the same model on YouTube videos as the components have been upgraded. I was still able to perform the install without too much difficulty with the included instructions.

Have had this fan for more than over 2 years now and i can confidently say if im building a budget pc, want a amazing cooling fan that wont break the bank. this is it. if youre not building a super computer and just want to run games on a decent processor, buy this

Super nice and cheap cpu cooler. Playing games keeps my temps relatively low and never seem it go to high

No frills, just chills. That’s all you get with this cooler, and for the price it can’t be beat. The included fan is silent 95% of the time if you set a custom fan curve and have enough airflow in your case. Highly recommended to beginners as well due to the simple mounting instructions.

Great value for a solid product. This Cooler Master Hyper 212 works well. Naturally there are more expensive ones out there but this model works very well, especially compared to a stock cooler. You can trust it with your CPU.

Extremely large, won't fit in most cases. Unit does work well

I was kind of dreading the installation since I had heard this model could be a bit of a pain, but setup was fairly easy. Just make sure you are using the correct bracket and pins otherwise it will not line up. I would say that there are a lot better models and brands to buy from at this price point, but if you are strapped for time and looking at this cooler, it is not a bad investment to have.

This particular CPU cooler isn’t for any over clocking or high powered parts, but it sure as heck gets the job done on most CPUs and I’d recommend it to anyone who is starting out.
