The AM4 mounting was awkward and one of the retention screws broke off while tightening. Since the screws are spring-loaded and non-replaceable I had to return it and ended up going with a different cooler. I'm rating this low based on my experience with it, but not going to one star because it might work better on Intel boards and the cooler itself seems pretty well-made even if the mounting doesn't.

The back plate it comes with is made of cheap plastic and strips very easily, this caused mine to not fit snug to the CPU and started to over heat quickly. Had trouble even getting it off after due to the stripped bolts, huge waste of time.

The fan is rated to operate at up to 2,000 rpm, I've been able to run it up to 1,936 on am AMD 8390 in an ASUS 970 Gaming mother board. It doesn't cool the CPU as well as I had anticipated, or as well a Wraith fan which can run at 5,000 rpm As for temperature, The Wraith Fan cooled the CPU by at least 5 degrees cooler. So I will be going back to the Wraith.

Cost effective, but not enough to cool down CPU for heavy users.

it's cheap and it works, but the fan can get "loose" and give a vibration noise.

It’s doesn’t fit on my mother board. I don’t know what’s wrong with it

the fan is attached in what looks like and afterthought. If the fan is bumped, even very slightly, the fan falls off and the cheesy little clips fall off too. I expected more from Cooler Master.

The actual package from the store does not match the package on the manufacturer's website. I don't know what this is about, but I've been to three Best Buy stores and all of them don't have the LGA 2011 mount.

if youre spending less than $50 on a cpu cooler, buy the hyper 212 series and save yourself the trouble of looking for anything else.

Way over priced and very flimsy nothing good to say about it if you buy it be careful of the fan it bites

ORDERED RTX 3070, it was DOA. Have been trying for 6 months every time you stock but have only been able to order successfully once. Could not even get an exchange, had to just return for refund. Missed the restock today.... Help me please.

After installation, this cooler has barely any noticeable change in thermals, oced or not. I returned this for something more Corsair

This is a good cooler. Was easy to install, priced great for the performance. I have an NZXT H510 case, which doesn't have good air flow and this still keeps my Ryzen 5 3600 around 32-35 degree when idle.

Installation is a bit obtuse but the instructions explain it well so you shouldn't have any problems, but it performs so well for the price. I don't overclock so idk how it would handle pushing the clock speeds and voltages, but for my 9700f the temps are really good. It is quite large and requires a decent amount of case room, but it's just such a good value.

It's not always about the RGB life. I chose the black option since I wanted to do a blacked out option for my build. For the price of the cooler , you won't find a better option for a cooler with this sort of performance. I paired this with a 7800x3d and that beast of a processor sees low temps at full speeds. I highly recommend this cooler
