I had bought a prebuilt computer with a i7 11700f and was super excited to use it. My wife asked me to render a short video for her business and after 35 seconds the cpu was reading 100c in cpu-z. I immediately went out and bought the Hyper 212, installed it and ran a longer render.....64c. It took AT LEAST 36c off the old cooler. It's worth it. Don't skimp on a power supply and keep your components cool.

Cool product. I mean very cool ^_^ I installed this product on my crappy quality pre-built iBuyPowerMR Gaming laptop. The CPU temperature dropped from 100 C to 65C. during very demanding game! Happy about this cool thing. Also did CPU stress test... all 8 cores running max. workload... the CPU temperature stays ~60C. (was 99C with the pre-built cheap heatsink solution from iBuyPower) Highly recommended!

Looks good. Works Great. Easy installation. Would recommend. Easier to by-pass the control box and just plug into board if possible.

I bought this cooler with some reservation because of the low price. This replaced the stock Wraith Prism cooler that came with my Ryzen 7 3700X. It has dropped my temps by 20+ degrees and now allows headroom for overclocking. The fan on the cooler also automatically synced with the Auros Fusion Rgb software so it matched the colors of the board lights. Also very impressed with the build quality, this cooler is awesome and a must have if you are overclocking.

Cooler looks great and keeps processor nice and cool. Perfect for air cooled systems. Only issue is this color fluctuates a lot in price $35-$55.

Great for overclocking and staying cool. I used this to overclock my Ryzen 5 2600 to 4.0ghz. Looks great but it's not addressable rgb which i thought it was.

Works great, not to hard to install and comes with the hardware to mount an additional fan. Keeps my 3600x from thermal throttling and looks good doing it.

I replaced the stock cooler on my Ryzen 3700X with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black edition and it has brought my temps down an average of 10-12 degrees. I run AutoCad on my rig as my profession so this rig gets used. The cooler keeps up with it with ease. The RGB fan is independently controlled by the included control module and is powered from the PSU by way of a molex connector. I will eventually add a second fan on the backside of it but for now since I do not overclock (no need to with Ryzen CPU's anyway), it is doing a very good job and looks good. The finish is super classy and is impressive.

Good looking cooler that gets the job done. The only down side is that I can fit all 4 ram sticks in the mb because the fan is in the way. But I recommend it over Ryzens 5 stock cooler. It keeps my Ryzen 5 3600X cool when gaming for long hours.

Definitely more quiet, but CPU wasn’t that much more noticeably cool until I purchased an extra fan for the other side. Then the temp drop was around 10degrees Celsius.

This is best CPU Cooler I've had in a longtime.

This works really good at cooling the CPU, it has great surface coverage, it runs quiet, and under rare conditions I only need to turn the fan up to 75%. I opted to add the second fan, it includes the optional second fan mounting brackets in the box. I'm using it to cool an AMD Ryzen 5 1600. It comes with a push button controller you plugin for the fan LED's and the LED's for the fan are multiple colors and have multiple modes. There wasn't instructions on the lighting control module settings in the box. Right now fan speed running at 30%, 1 fan on 10% and all others on 50% the temp is 26C/78F, 29C to 33C sometimes 36C is more common, it rarely ever goes higher than 41C and up to 107F or 111F under heaviest loads. Before with stock fan it was running hotter and the higher temps lasted much longer, it took a longtime to bring the temps down before. The only downside is you need to think about cable management a bit with this cooler especially if you add a second fan. I highly recommend this version of the CPU cooler, the version before this one doesn't seem as good, the mounting area coverage and mounting configuration of that version compared to this one isn't as good. The price could've been just a slightest bit lower at around $35 to $40 would have been nice.

Easy installations and good upgrade from my stock pc fans that sucked horribly. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is the LED lights on the product itself ended up going out within 30 min of me having installed it. I could’ve gone through the whole steps of taking it all off and just exchanging it but for the amount of time it took to install I decided to just keep the one with the LED lights out on it.

I didn’t get the immense cooling improvement that others did with this cooler. During gameplay my temps hover around 50-60 and get to the high 60s. However, this cooler is EXTREMELY quiet, at least compared to my previous one. It was actually insane to me how quiet it was; it’s not much louder than my case fans and I can’t notice much of a difference when it’s at idle or under load. If you’re in need of a quiet cooler this is a great option. If you want better cooling, you may want to go for a double fan push/pull setup to see improved temps over a regular cooler. Setup was pretty straightforward; the hardest part is just cable management and getting your connectors in the right place. The RGB connector is 4 pin and my case’s RGB is 3 pin, so I couldn’t connect it to my case’s RGB setup and had to plug it into the motherboard and control it with software apart from my case’s buttons but that is a minor annoyance and depending on your case’s RGB setup it may work seamlessly.

Does fine cooling my 9600k overclocked to 5.0mhz. Even took it to 5.2 when benchmarking and the highest temp was around 86 degrees Celsius for a short amount of time. Of course I added a 2nd fan that I had lying around.
