It doesn't have good ratings for nothing; I was getting 76C with my previous aftermarket cooler from Amazon (gross) I decided to change it when i wanted better temperatures to prolong the life of my CPU. Now running a big game like Death Stranding my temperature doesn't even go above 53C. I'm content :) p.s i love the colors works with my MSI mystic light app.

Bought for Ryzen 3600

I haven’t ever used a cooler of this style before so it was a little tricky figuring out how to mount. But that process depends on the experience of the user. My processor was overheating with the stock cooler. 55C- 80C and up. Computer would crash. Thermals are now under control. (30C - 65C) I used the extra fan mounting plates to add another fan to the other side of the heat sink. I like that they made that real easy.

Cool and fancy, but bulky

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It fit but barely on my motherboard, the fan being something that bumped into the RAM modules, so it became easier to install adding the fan to the radiator as the final step, instead of the way it comes pre-packaged. The orientation of the fan needed to be changed in my system as well, allowing for the RGB feature to be visible through the glass panel in my gaming case. The fan lights do come out to a standard RGB 4-pin connector which mated exactly perfectly with my motherboard.
