Core Innovations - 150” LCD Home Theater Projector is a perfect gift for anyone who wants the home theater experience. The picture quality is very good. Plug in any multimedia device (firestick roku dvd player gaming system) and it's show time. A blank wall works perfect. The sound quality was my only reason to frown. But you hear the voice audio just fine. The kids live this one. Perfect holiday gift.

This is a good projector for your kids to use for backyard movies, to stream gaming or to watch family photos. This is not something you want to purchase for your business to use in front of the executives to show detailed graphics to a large group. There is a reason this is such a good price and the picture quality shows. The screen size goes up to 150" - but it is not HD quality as we are used to watching on our televisions or computer screens. It is fun to use to and has many uses - but it does not have a crisp picture. It is very easy to use and has every input you will need. It comes with a small remote that makes it easy to control. It does have built in sound - but it is not very loud for a outdoor movie night. You need to be close to the unit. That is pretty hard with social distancing right now. I would categorize this as a fun projector! Not one for business.

I was very disappointed with the quality of the Core Innovations 150" LCD Home Theater Projector. I found it to be easy to set up. The lens cap was a very loose fit and easily fell off when the projector was moved. The projector would not focus sharply and the picture seemed somewhat blurry. The room must be dark to see the picture very well. This is a very basic low-end entry level projector with very few features. Save your money.

I have to say right off the bat, the quality is not 4K or something you would want to watch a movie with a bunch of friends outside but on a 105" screen inside with the kids playing Fortnite, you just became the best parent ever. I received the projector and tried it on a sheet at first and it was blah. I decided to buy a 105" screen from another retailer as it was the biggest I could fit on the wall and Best Buy did not offer one. The true projector screen is what it needed, the difference was night and day. The quality jumped up to a 1080 ish picture with the lights off. Playing Fortnite was the best thing my kids have ever seen on a big screen. Movie watching is awesome as well for the kids. Cartoons like Trolls or Onward was actually pretty awesome. The graphics were pretty colorful but a tad fuzzy on the edges. Detail was a 7 out of 10 for being a projector. The built in speaker is actually decent, but do not look for bass. I hooked up an old Insignia soundbar I had in storage and book, now this thing has made the kids play room the center of attention. The kids around the area now want to just come in with my kids and watch movies and play games, they are the "House to be at" and I actually heard 2 kids say it. Connections are easy and fast, they work no problem. The unit is a little noisy, which is a downfall but overlooked when the kids are enjoying it. Another thing would be night time outdoor movies with the family. I see this being something fun once it is warmer out again. I highly recommend this projector for a fun kids room at this price point. If you are looking for movie theater quality, it is not for you but at this price, it is a 5 star product.

The Core Innovations - 150” LCD Home Theater Projector is a fun little inexpensive gadget but it falls short. In the box is the projector with lens cover, power cord, remote and manuals. Its not the most sturdy feeling projector and feels very light in the hand, but for the price point you shouldn’t expect more. You can use the Core Innovations projector with many different sources as it has 2 HMDI ports, a USB, Micro SD, VGA and Mini AV inputs. It does have a built in speaker and you can also port out the sound from the headphone jack to external amplifiers. As for picture size you can go from 32 inches to as big as 150 inches by moving the unit closer or further from your wall or screen. Performance: Picture - here’s where you need to have the correct expectations. The Core Innovations Projector doesn’t have the sharpest picture no matter how much you try to adjust it and no matter the source.The center of the pic is the best and as you move towards the edges the picture quality gets worse. Sound – the on board speakers leave much to be desired in the fidelity department but will do if you don’t have any other source for sound. I am giving it 2 stars and overall I am torn on whether to recommend this or not, but lean towards a yes only if you understand its limitations and use this for a portable (not so high quality) projector for your backyard gatherings or in a pinch for projecting a presentation at a meeting etc…not a ringing endorsement but it is what it is…

Best picture in a dark environment - if using for business presentation, be prepared to dim the room lights for viewing

There are a lot of cheap portable projectors you can find these days for anyone looking to set up a movie night on the go. And many are well made and fully featured devices that offer a surprising amount of utility for the price. This unit is not one of them. The unit bears all the hallmarks of a product being drop-shipped from some unknown Chinese factory. The unit I got arrived with very large fingerprints all over the lens, requiring me to clean it before I could get acceptable image quality. It rattles whenever you move it, and as far as I can tell this isn't the result of damage so much as the lens mounting and adjustments just being built far too loose to stay in place. And the light from the main lamp leaks out of several places on the casing, most notably the cover for the rear remote which looks to have paint smeared all over the inside of it. The core features are also exaggerated. I was told that I should focus on the adjustable screen size for this review - however I find it hard to justify doing it as it essentially doesn't have that ability. Most projectors offering variable screen size have a zoom wheel or slider that adjusts the focal range of the lens. This does not. You "adjust" the screen size by moving it closer to or further away from your projection surface, which means that if you want a larger screen you're going to end up with a much dimmer image. They claim that you can go up to 150" - based on my testing I'd say anything past 70 or so is probably optimistic unless you've got a pitch black room to work in. Though at the resolution it runs at, I'm not sure you really want to push it much more than that anyway. I also can't say much for the optics you get. It focuses well enough but the keystone correction is atrocious, badly blurring the top and bottom edges of the image if it's applied at all. If you can look past the issues with the design and construction, the projector's overall performance is about what you'd expect. You've got a built in media player that can read common video and picture formats from a microSD card or thumb drive, a pair of HDMI ports, one VGA port, and an RCA port which will requires a 3.5mm adapter (not included.) They all worked when I tested them, although again the picture quality left a lot to be desired given how much downscaling is being applied. If there is one defining virtue of this thing to be found, I'd say it's probably in the fact that it's cheap enough that I really wouldn't care what happened to it. This is the kind of thing to use on an outdoor movie night where you might need to deal with rain, or to give to a kid for them to play with. But if you're expecting a genuine bargain, I'd look elsewhere. You get exactly what you pay for here - a projector that's just short of being fully disposable.

If you are looking for a high quality projector for entertainment purposes, this is not the one for you. This is a stripped down projector with not many features. No bells. No whistles. Being that it is so simple, it is extremely easy to use. Out of the box you can tell there isn't much going on. It doesn't have the look and feel of a real quality built item. This projector is for the person who needs a projector but doesn't have much money to spend. Performance wise? You get what you pay for. I seemed to have trouble getting the entire screen into good focus. The picture is adequate and it gets very big. Nobody is going to ooh and ahh over the picture quality on this one. The best thing about this projector is the fact that it has so many inputs. No matter what device you need to project, you should have no problem with this device.The sounds is decent. It kind of blares if it's a little too loud, which is noticeable in shows where the dialog is low, but the music and fx are loud. Bottom line, this projector is about as bare bones as it gets. It is not going to blow anyone away. I would venture to say that this is good for the conference room, but not the media room.

This projector is simple to set up and use. There is no assembly required other than connecting the power adapter and the cable that you choose to connect to it. It comes with plenty of connection options including Micro SD, USB, 3.5 mm headphone, 3.5 mm AV, VGA and 2 HDMI inputs. The native resolution is 800 x 480 and the LED bulb is rated at 45 lumens. The keystone adjustment is a wheel beside the focus wheel that lets you make an instant adjustment instead of having to navigate a menu as you do with most projectors. I have a 140" drop down screen in my den. I set this up to mostly fill the screen and was initially disappointed at the picture. After darkening the room and spending a couple of minutes in settings adjusting mostly brightness and contrast I got a much more acceptable image. I watched images generated by my laptop, my tablet and my phone via HDMI and all worked great. This projector is a great intro to large screen viewing. Keep in mind that it has almost SVGA resolution, has 45 lumens and costs a fraction of what most projector replacement bulbs cost. While this wouldn't be a great choice for a high tech home theater or office conference room it is great fun in a dark room. I can't wait to set it up for the grandkids when they come.

I think I have to say that there is just a few good things about this projector and that is: The size, which is a regular o a little bit smaller that the conventional and can be placed almost anywhere, consider it'll need a near outlet to connect it. Connectivity is fine, it can be used via HDMI, USB, VGA, 3.5mm, Micro SD, there is not wireless connection. Remote control, it makes things easy XD. Now the cons: The projector looks and feels cheap, there is not wireless connection, lightning is not the best, a dark room would be really necessary to get the most of it. Picture quality is poor, when playing a film through my PS4 wasn't enjoyable I had to reconnect the PS4 and what the movie on my TV. The menu is simple but not that intuitive. In my opinion is not worth the price, not even with discount, there is a lot to improve on this projector which, in my opinion, is better for presentations or display images. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

I bought it tested it out for the day super easy to use and setup but you get what you payed for

Being the cheapest projector on the market at half the price of the next cheapest one I could find, I was surprised this thing worked at all. But it worked great! It has around 720p resolution (witch is very low for today's standards) and a tiny screen space and has no fancy features, It just projects an image on a wall and that's it.

A valuable asset at an affordable price also cool colors.

This is not working how I thought it would. I have an Android phone, I plugged in the HDMI-USB C cable to my phone, but nothing worked. I don't know if my phone is compatible, it's a 2023 Moto 5G and a Moto Razr. But, nothing is showing up on the projector. All these YouTube videos are saying to connect my projector to the WiFi, but it has no Bluetooth capability. Otherwise, the DVD player does work. It's a good price for a quick set up. I have not tried to connect my laptop or tablet yet. But the cable to connect my phone is not working. So, DVDs is what I am working with.

Works great for a beginners projector. The picture quality is great for the price. Would definitely recommend.
