I bought this upgrade to minimize the lag when playing games on computer.

Upgraded my 4GB(2x2) Samsung DDR3 PC3-8500F(533MHz) memory to this Corsair 8GB DD3 PC3-10700(667MHz). I have a HP Pavilion dv6-2155dx with Intel i3 Core with Windows 7 64bit. Uprading this memory has increased my memory speed drastically on my index. I have to say, having lots of free memory helps me multitaks better without any lag. This was easy to install. I ordered this online without any problems. For the price is great, I bought these when they were on sale. Not bad for 2 4GB memory for the price. Excellent buy.

This is about the return process, which I will give five stars for, in terms of quick processing and refunding of my payment. I really can't review the product, since it was the incorrect size (all of the entries on the Best Buy website appear to describe my computer--hmmm.). I was disappointed, but not daunted. I bought a set of the correct modules at the website of my computer's manufacturer. Best Buy apparently is unable to sell the correct size memory upgrade modules for my computer.

I ordered this set of memory for my Toshiba using the guide accoring to model etc. Not sure if it was defective or the chart was wrong. No signs of life. Returned to Best Buy.

Failed right out of the container. Wouldn't boot up my system at all ! Returned it and purchased another companies memory and it took right off!

I have a late 2008 Macbook aluminum body, came with 2GB of RAM factory, and rarely used it anymore due to not having school work & having a gaming desktop.. However I recently wanted to use the Macbook for on the road gaming & found out the max my unit could hold was 8GB with a couple of OS updates, asked the local Apple Rep @ the Best Buy store & she recommended Corsair due to it rarely failing in Macs, ordered it & a couple days later installed in about 10 minutes & WOW is all I can say!! I can now finally play League of Legends on my Macbook & love it!

After looking at the price for memory for my late 2011' Macbook Pro 2.4GHz i5 on apple's website and seeing a price of $200 for 8GB, I knew there had to be a cheaper alternative. At $59.99 for 8GB of memory for my Macbook Pro, that price is hard to beat considering the alternatives. The hardest part was finding a screwdriver small enough to remove the bottom cover of my mac. Took all of 5 minutes and the memory work! I saw the speed difference especially with web surfing. Going to youtube and viewing a 720 HD video is a good test to see if the memory increase is apparent and I saw the difference.

Ram modules came as promised. I had never upgraded this particular laptop before (a tosibha satellite p775-s7320.) It's stock ram was already 6 gigs, but this machine is being used for audio recording so I wanted to max it out. After figuring out that the bottom portion of the case actually was supposed to bend slightly, I just discharged the battery and disengaged the pins. The Corsair ram when right in, no struggle. Although I didn't benchmark the laptop before or after, it seems as if the Corsair ram is more efficient than the stock ram because the response is snappier, the machine boots quicker, and so forth. So far, the ram has been extremely stable. I was worried with this machine that perhaps the additional ram would create a volcano of hot air that would get it over heating. I have had the ram installed for about a month now and it is rock solid. I plan on maybe doing a tower box in the future and I will no hesitate to use Corsair ram in the future. When they say it's the best, it is THE BEST!

While worth the cost, it's sad that not too long ago this amount of RAM could be purchased for half as much as it's going for now. Yes, there are cheaper alternatives, but the price difference is less than 5%, and it's hard to beat the reliability and performance of Corsair cards. I'd prefer it if it were a little less expensive, but can't really fault the brand or these cards since that's a market issue and not a manufacturer choice. All in all, this is a good value at current prices and a must-have if they ever go on sale. Additional RAM is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to improve any computer, new or old, and is a no-brainer frankly.

I have a Macbook Pro, Mid-2012 version. I first bought the PNY brand which kept showing up errors on my testing log. I took it back and bought this Corsair one and it worked perfectly.

I maxed out the memory of my laptop with this when purchased new for multi tasking and it has been fantastic so far. Havn't been able to even slow it down and I have been trying. Great upgrade.

Corsair is a leading name in RAM and I bought a 2x4GB = 8GB pack to upgrade my new iMac. It took about 1 minute to complete the upgrade and the unit runs so much smoother!! This is a great item and a terrific price for reliable RAM for an iMac!

Easy install and I'm by no means tech savvy...took about 10 min start to finish. Increased from 3gb to 8gb on my 4 year old HP g62 and it works so much better. Definitely would recommend trying before investing in a new laptop.
