Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the 5000D AIRFLOW ATX Mid-Tower PC Case's excellent airflow, ample space, and relatively easy installation. Many appreciate the case's size and cable management features, along with its ability to accommodate large graphics cards. Solid case. Like that its not plastic. I wish the window side would swing open instead of having to unscrew and take it off but overall its a great case.

Very nice feeling/looking design. Be WARNED: if you have a 3080 TI or any other BIG video card you will create a hot pocket. This case really needed a way to circulate the air on the bottom better to be perfect.

      Hi A1Human,

Thanks for the feedback, the front intake should be assisting in moving the air from underneath the GPU. If you have any further questions about the case, please feel free to contact our support team: support.corsair.com

Top mount radiators are an absolute pain in the rear, as they block EPS CPU power. I have had to do all sorts of jerry riggings to get a multi-radiator setup to work.

      Hello false,

You should still have room to connect your EPS CPU connector without issue. You may want to change the order of installation so that you would have the proper clearance for plugging in the cable. If you'd like assistance, please feel free to reach out to our support team: support.corsair.com

Vey little room for cable management on the back side, very poor selection of how to place power supply, issues reaching cpu 8 pin and cable manage, can only use certain aios mounted up top. If of given 1/10 but gave 2 since corsair.

      Hi,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Were you using an ATX or SFX PSU? SFX PSUs have a shorter cable length than ATX PSUs. Our 5000 Series PSUs support 240mm, 280mm, and 360mm radiator mounting atop. If you have any questions, please contact us - we'd be happy to assist: help.corsair.com

The case is extremely spacious and can easily fit the newer GPUs. It has great airflow and can accommodate any type of water-cooling setup. The cable management is a breeze on this case, especially since corsair provides a lot of straps and tie down points. I especially like the fan controller on the back which allows you to connect multiple fans without needing fan cable extensions. I was able to fit a 360 AIO on top with a push/pull configuration, ATX motherboard, 4090 GPU, 1000 watt PSU and 13 fans. Even with all of those components I still have a lot of space available.

Great case from Corsair. Excellent airflow, support for an eye-watering 10 fans, plus internals. My build is incredibly cooled, even overclocked, no water cooling. Tons of velcro and special channels to route cables into for great management.

Pros: THE FRONT ISN'T BLOCKED BY PLASTIC/GLASS!!! It baffles me how that is a thing these days, even those tiny side slits do NOT provide adequate ventilation. Vents come with a magnetic filter It fits a 360mm AIO radiator no problem. The top and front fit 140mm fans no problem. The side ventilation has a guidance cover that directs air toward the motherboard. Cable management is decent, along with a little door to cover the mess. Enough space for all your storage needs, as many SSD slots as your motherboard can use: 3 on the rear of the motherboard plate and more underneath by the PSU. It's vertical GPU ready. It has space with an RTX 3080 for underside airflow, maybe not with 2...but who's doing that for normal gaming these days? Cons: You might need to screw the cable management door closed to avoid it from popping open (magnetic doors)... unless you're awesome at routing. Installing the side vent fans can be a bit of a pain, as you have to unscrew the cable management harness to loosen the fan bracket. The PSU shroud is riveted in, so for those that want that to come out, sorry. The rear exhaust is only for a 120mm, I'll probable rig a 140mm for better flow. All in all, this case is worthy of 165 (go find the coupons!), and looks beautiful in any color choice. Cooling is a breeze (har har) and you shouldn't have a problem with AIO coolers, custom might be tricky.
