Not much you can truly write about a mouse for when the just work you forget about it entirety. this mouse is fantastic and I think a better value than the logitech g pro. once again corsair has shown me that despite having owned mice from logitech, razer, steelseries, and glorious o gaming. there mice simply are the best value and I'm certain the longest lasting.

    Rampant Scroll Encoder Issues

I do not recommend this mouse. Although it's a very nice mouse to use and I love iCUE software, this particular mouse and its wired versions have Scroll Encoder issues and do not last long enough to justify the cost. Try and RMA the moment it starts scrolling up when you're scrolling down for best results!

    Lightweight Powerhouse

“Lightweight” doesn’t adequately describe this mouse! It’s literally lighter with the built-in rechargeable power source than most mice without batteries and weighs in at 79G. The stated operating time between charges is 60 hours with the 2.4GHz Slipstream dongle and 90 hours on Bluetooth and it can operate as a wired mouse with the included paracord. It is a 26,000 DPI mouse with 5 selectable report speeds from 2000Hz to 125Hz for all your gaming needs. The mouse becomes full-featured with the addition of the iCUE app available for download. You can program up to 3 onboard profiles, and add countless other game or task-specific ones through the app. iCUE uses close to 123 MB of memory operating on the background and over 400 MB when active. The glide pads are replaceable, and the mouse can be used with a claw or palm grip due to the multi-sensitive top buttons. This is billed as a “competition-grade” mouse and nothing I’ve found would lead me to disagree with that description. There are 7 programable buttons, custom RGB lighting, the option to calibrate the mouse for different surfaces, and specific key assignments. But aside from performance, it’s comfortable to use for extended periods.

Coming from the Razer Deathadder V2 Pro, I anticipated that I would like this mouse since it had a similar shape. But boy was I wrong. It slips out of my hand and my grip just never feels right (I’m 6’ 1” and have large hands). Not to mention the cord it comes with to charge the mouse is really hard to plug in to mouse (always felt like I was going to break it every time I plugged it in), and it doesn’t even come with an adapter for the dongle. The iCue software is also terrible and clunky, it’s a 2gb program and anytime you press windows key while in game it froze my entire computer and I had to force restart (I have a high end pc, and this was never an issue before this mouse). After uninstalling software and switching back to old mouse, never had that problem again.

      Hello ValorantPlayer28,

Thank you for your feedback. If you still have this mouse, could you try forcing a firmware update to see if it can clear up the issues you were experiencing? Within iCUE, select the mouse and go to Device Settings. You'll find an option for firmware update, select it and then choose Force Firmware update from the 3 dotted menu. If you're still having issues after this, please reach out to our support team so we can assist you directly: support.corsair.com

    Overall good gaming mouse

Overall this is a good gaming mouse. Large enough for most hands without being to large for smaller hands. Very lightweight (a plus or a minus I guess depending on your taste). It can be used wired or wirelessly. Although in my testing it was fine when used wirelessly, I still have a preference for wired. But there are those times wireless is necessary. The RGB logo is nice (if not standard) these days. It has a simple & classic mouse design. Far to many gaming mice try to be flashy and end up being a pain to use but this one is right on the money for me. Buttons are easy to reach and logical. The DPI button is nicely placed as well. With the iCue software, you have a decent amount (if not standard) amount of customization available. Overall I find it to be a very utilitarian gaming mouse. Nicely made, logically designed and works as intended. Nothing flashy. Just a solid workhorse that should last a long time without leaving you feeling like you need more from it. Recommended.
