Didn’t get to use it but it still functions
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this but realized my computer didn’t have a extra sata port. So I can’t use it but it looks nice

Posted .Hi Joshey,
The Commander PRO doesn't require a SATA port - it requires a SATA power connector from your PSU and USB 2.0 header on your motherboard. If you have any questions, we'd be happy to help: support.corsair.com

Random usb disconnects
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish I had looked at Corsair forums prior to buying this to see the number of unanswered by Corsair support issues with random usb disconnects issues. My system is brand new build and it’s annoyingly to get random Usb disconnects sounds or see a corrupt usb driver hub notification in device manager. To see users struggle with having to by an extra internal usb hub to fix the issue and Corsair support being quite and oblivious to the number of users posting their issues with the random disconnects with the commander pro and ICue is bad mark. It really brings in question the quality of all Corsair products and the companies lack of care and support. If you are thinking about getting a Commander Pro don’t. Save your cash. Corsair’s days of quality engineered/ supported products are long gone.

Posted .Hi Spock,
Please note that if only a select group of components has issues with the CPro we just haven't gotten to the bottom of the incompatibility and it doesn't reflect the product line's capabilities.

Wish I didn’t have to buy this
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wish I didn’t have to buy thisBut you have to buy this in order to get your RGB fans to work
I would recommend this to a friendBrand response from Corsair Art
Posted .Hi,
You do not need this to make any of your fans work. Even if you wanted to control the RGB only, you could go with the included Lighting Node Pro for the 3 or 2 fan kits we sell.

Doesn’t even run Corsairs own LED LIGHTS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So you purchase this “premium” commander pro to clean up wires and run LED lights. Unfortunately corsairs own LED lights seem to need another lighting command node in order to work. The instructions are vague and useless. For a premium product that doesn’t even run corsairs own products is outrageous.

Posted .Hi Deckie,
I'm afraid it'll be the same as on the response to the RGB LED lighting PRO Expansion kit:
The Commander Pro does run those lights directly connected to one of its LED channels. If you get the product again and have issues please do reach out: support.corsair.com

Couldn't get it to work right
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This caused my fans to fluctuate rpms. I ran different fans (pwm and voltage control) to see if it was a fan conflict. It did it for both types of fans. I went back to using my Phanteks fam hub and everything worked perfectly.

A Bit Pricey...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to purchase this separately to get my SP120 fans to run. A bit pricey and even with the RGB hub that came with the SP120 fans I still can’t control what color I want the lights to be...

The product works great
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The reason for the low rating is the product was supposedly bought new but was missing pieces, like the mounting tape! Besides that the product works as it should.

Do not use with a Asus Crosshair Hero VIII
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately this would not function properly with my crosshair hero VIII. Apparently it is a know issue that the board does not recognize this as a usb hub when plugged in.

Stay away, buy commander core.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not waste your money on commander pro, only works with ML and SP series fans. Also it lacks fan control. Buy the commander core much more versatile.

Um it sucked
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What an Outstanding $80 investment on a recent purchase today. Couldn’t even last 5 minutes powering 4 fans. Lucky I didn’t add some rgb to this mix probably would of burned alive.
