Great fan controller
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easily connects multiple fans and the software is great to control them all. The software does require a little bit of playing around to figure out at first but once you figure it out, it works great.

Great concept, ruins my gameplay experience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this commander to complete the rest of my computer build. I am running 8 corsair RGB fans. 3x white LL120 and 3x black LL120 that came with my case all on the commander. 2x ML120 white off motherboard chassis headers. Originally I was only using the corsair RGB fan hub, with the lighting node and everything was fine. Once installing the commander pro, and updating corsair to the latest version so that I could control my fan speeds (whole reason I purchased this product) things went downhill. I installed it all, booted up a game, and had stuttering. Frames went down from 144 to 100-120 with obvious screen lag. After troubleshooting that I put everything in correctly, I uninstalled the iCue software. Gaming went back to normal, perfect. Reinstalled iCue, everything still fine, but no fan control and iCue not picking up the fans. Update iCue to latest version. I get fan control, and the game starts stuttering again. I did this 3 times just to confirm my findings: Installing iCue I get complete RGB control, but no fan speed control, and the game plays perfect. Updating iCue to latest version i get fan control, but my game fps drops and i get stuttering. Also when iCue is uninstalled i run 20% usage on CPU ingame, with iCue in at 50. When the game stuttering begins my GPU will only be at 50-70% usage but low frames and bad quality. With iCue uninstalled I get 80-95% GPU with 144fps non stop perfectly smooth. Maybe Corsair can give me some insight on what I need to do. But I will probably return it and just use splitters.
