Probably the worst mouse I've ever owned
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse and the associated iCue software has been nothing but problems. It's not all bad, but the associated iCue software needs more work. I switched to the Dark Core from a Logitech G903. The G903 was more expensive, but lighter, more responsive, had much (much) longer battery life, and worked without additional software. The Dark Core needs iCue to work. I'd be ok with that if iCue worked well. Here are the main problems: * iCue software sometimes has high CPU usage for no apparent reason and sometimes hangs in Win11 * Higher mouse DPI rates seem to be processed via the iCue software, so if iCue hangs, the mouse DPI rate is at it's default low rate. The fact that you need iCue to use this mouse just makes no sense. The high CPU usage rate (almost 7% on a high end system) is crazy. That's with all murals and lighting effects disabled and the mouse in device memory mode. iCue is seemingly processing data from the mouse before passing it off to Windows (even in device memory mode), so if iCue has a temporary hiccup or hangs, the mouse will temporary become slow. Playing a game where your mouse resolution dynamically switches between 1000 and 6000 DPI in real-time is quite a challenge. The funny thing is I've been using iCue since 2018 with a Corsair keyboard and lit mouse pad. iCue has never been an issue until I paired it with this mouse.

Excellent gaming and general use mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the charging cable and that at works as a wired mouse, Bluetooth, and with its own USB receiver. Bluetooth on my iMac is kinda laggy but the its primarily for my PC and their USB receiver and software on Windows is really great. If the Bluetooth worked better I'd give it a 5 for Ease of Use is the Bluetooth was more responsive, but that might just be my iMac... I really like the grip. The optional right-side cover lets be drag my pinky which I love and if I game too long my pinky used to get soar from it dragging on a rough mouse pad. This solved a problem I've had for years.

Great mouse for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The lighting is pretty cool on it, it was easy to setup with the icue software. It works as a wired mouse through usbc, or wireless as bluetooth or with a usb dongle.

an excellent mouse for gaming and daily functions
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.so far i have to say the mouse is amazing. i primarily picked this mouse because i had gotten the majority of my index and middle fingers cut off in an accident and needed a mouse that i could reach the buttons with using my nubs.. which needless to say the button placement on these is phenomenal for me and i feel like im actually able to use a mouse like normal again. as an added bonus it has the dpi customization along with the rgb effects. super comfortable and super accurate. i havent found a single thing wrong with it so far, doubt that i will.

Smooth
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as I wanted to get a wireless Mouse. Also liked the features in the buttons and how all of the programmable buttons are on the index and thumb. Works very well, has storage for the wireless adapter if you were using it wired. Overall it’s smooth and it’s worked out well so far.

Great for large hands!

Great mouse but it will fail
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this mouse was fantastic. The demensions were absolutely nailed. I have had two of these and they have both had an issue with the middle mouse wheel. It's cheap plastic inside. Takes about a month to send it out to warranty so overall, for the price, stick to Razor and SteelSeries.

A good mouse overall.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Corsair as a brand is fantastic. All their products do not slack in any means of the word. The quality and feel of the DARK CORE RGB PRO Wireless is very good. The rgb lights are bright and very customizable. The only area I am disappointed with, is that sometimes, not always, the mouse will freeze for a period of time. It might be that the connection between the receiver is not good or just that it is wireless and that is one downfall of going wireless instead of wired.

Great product! Fast, dependable.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used a lot of cheap mice and this is definitely an upgrade from what I'm used to. My only critique is I wish I had a little bit better control over the button remapping and such. Corsair programming software is a little complicated. For instance, I was hoping to get a mouse with extra inputs that could remap constant information but the buttons are only momentary regardless whether you hold down the button or not. (I tried to remap w&s to the extra buttons and was a little disappointed as they are momentary.) Again awesome product just didn't totally fit perfect.. :)

Its a mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a good mouse. Its my favorite mouse that ive owned so far. Do I think there are other mice out there that are better, for sure. Its not too heavy, rgb functions great, pretty smooth. Depending on your need (fps gaming, MOBA gaming, editing, needing macros on the mouse) there will probably be a better mouse to fit your specific needs. But for a mouse that can, for the most part, cover all the bases (other than a 8 button macro list), its solid.

Really enjoying it
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the most part I really enjoy using this mouse. My pc doesn’t support Bluetooth so wireless is my best bet. The mouse has little to no latency and the battery lasts a good period, but whenever I turn my pc on the only downside is that I have to unplug my wireless receiver, open up ICUE then pair and plug it back in. This took me quite a while to figure out as it doesn’t let you pair of it’s already plugged in. Other than that I love it
