I purchased this keyboard because I wanted to go back to a mechanical keyboard. It's not as "clacky" as mos gaming keyboards, and pretty comfortable. The cables are stiff and thick, so cabling will be a bit awkward. I really like this keyboard. Note: I'm not a gamer.

I was most interested in experiencing the Cherry MX Red SILENT switches. This keyboard has the RGB version of those switches. I like the switches - they are fairly quiet and require little effort to push them and have fairly short travel. But in some cases, barely touching a key would activate the switch. Probably my fault, but I found it strange, and I've never had that issue on other keyboards. Then there is the RGB lighting. The LEDs are located near the rear of the switch, so that is where most of the light goes. To compensate for this, the primary and secondary labels on at least some of the keys are reversed. For example, the number keys across the top of the keyboard have the number labels near the rear of the key surface, the secondary symbols near the front of the key surface. The punctuation keys also have their labels reversed. This can be confusing unless you type entirely without looking. The LEDs should be centered under the switches and key caps so the original label positions could be used, but that would require a new and non-compatible switch and button design. I found these issues annoying enough that I returned the keyboard.

Bought this keyboard about 6 months ago and it's probably the coolest part of my gaming setup! The colors are crisp and the interchangeable tactile buttons feel great. The lighting with iCue makes for some great customisable color schemes that can get quite complicated!

I give it 4 stars because it could be built sturdier. The only use I have for the RGB is to turn all the lights blue. Don't need rotating colors but if your into that sort of thing it will do it. It is a lot quieter than the last straight mechanical keyboard I had, so I'll give it 5 stars for that because that is what I was after. Overall a decent keyboard I can use, only complaint is it needs to be made tougher.

This keyboard has all the same features as a mechanical keyboard but only 1/2 the noise. online friends don't complain about hearing my keyboard anymore but I get to still have the performance of a mechanical keyboard! Silent is the way!

I have a cherry brown keyboard, but it can be too loud for the wife at night so I needed something quieter. I decided to get this and it's made a great difference. It still feels nice, but the sound is perfect since it's literally completely silent.

I've had this keyboard for a little over a month and have loved using it. If you are switching to this from one of the keyboards that are more clackey it may take some time to get used to but all in all great keyboard by Corsair.

I like the mechanical switches with back lighting. My only quibbles - which aren't worth a star - are the space bar is very easy to space through one of my Civ characters, and I wish my configured color back light stayed constant.

My son says it's alot better (quieter) than his other keyboard. This Corsair is much quieter and doesn't get picked up by the microphone when he's recording. but we also bought a microphone, so the combination of the 2 are great

I had to get this because my gaming was driving my wife crazy with all the noise from mechanical keys... so this keyboard performs as well without the clicking noises. So happy I can keep gaming and happy wife as well!

This keyboard is as colorful as a fresh rainbow right after a rain storm.

A lil pricey for a keyboard but worth it. Comes with extra keys. Buttons are good.

I'm not a gamer, but wanted the lighted keyboard. With a larger keyboard, my accuracy is much better and I'm to type faster with confidence. I use the keyboard for a lot of work from home applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.

The keys feel very responsive when playing games such as Fortnite and Apex among other PC games...I would recommend this keyboard to anybody looking to do gaming or normal use as well Corsair once again knocks it out of the park.

This Corsair keyboard offers great functionality and aesthetics. I highly recommend trying out the keys prior to purchasing; these key switches are indeed very silent, but may lack the tactile response desired from a mechanical keyboard. I do wish this keyboard offered USB-C connectivity, so you may want to shop around if that’s a big deal for you.
