I was worried at first when I purchased this keyboard because I had used HyperX for a decent amount of time and nothing beat it. This Corsair keyboard is infinitely better than my previous tactile HyperX keyboard. The silent keys are definitely silent and the threshold for input is outstanding; little pressure must be applied for the keys to register. The RGB is also outstanding with excellent features and customization through the iCUE Corsair software. Media buttons work amazingly.

This is the best thing in the world for my son, who had a stroke & was a gramer before, now i bought this keyboard because it lights up & in colors ( wow wow ), now it helps him to play at night & now he tries to use his right hand & the young man who help me is a gamer too ( i was so lucky to get him to help me ). There is so much i could say but i think you get my point.

After reading many reviews later, I finally end up purchasing this keyboard and I do not regret it. The keys have this great spring to them and I really like the backlighting to the keyboard and how customizable it can be. I have nothing to complain about with this keyboard. Great quality that is just very comfortable to use.

The strafe mk. 2 was a great keyboard for me and was my first mechanical keyboard. I used to have the razor ornata which was a membrane keyboard. I thought the ornata was good but was nothing compared to the feeling of pushing down a key on my strafe mk. 2. The silent switches are quiet and have a great and satisfying feel to them. Overall this keyboard is a great keyboard to have if you want a good mechanical keyboard at an affordable price

Bought it as an emergency replacement after busting my Strafe Red's keys unexpectedly. Got delivered the next morning, amazing! For something I got for about the same price as my previous one, It's a direct upgrade and the Cherry MX Silents save a lot of frustration from my friends in voice chat. I also love the RGB customization

This is absolutely the best gaming keyboard I have used. I love the feature this comes with. The Cherry MX Silent keys are fantastic and has great feedback. I'm not a fan of the click klak keys so I was so excited to own this new keyboard. The RGB lighting is bright and easy to control with many options. I have a matching mouse as well.

After comparing various models, this keyboard had many of the features as the higher priced models but for a susbtantially lower price. Nice feeling silent mx keys , beautiful individually configurable rgb backlighting, and onboard profile storage. Overall the best keyboard ive purchased. Awesome value.

Keyboard has a great feel. MX silent switches are a little clicky, but not loud. RGB looks great, especially when paired with others Corsair RGB products. The only negative observation is that the backspace key sometimes sounds different than the rest. hopefully that won't be an issue in the future.

As advertised the keyboard is silent enough to keep people from commenting on how loud your keyboard is. The feel is definitely different which might put off some, but I find it an acceptable compromise for the sound. It still feels clickly and responsive. With the iCue program you can pair the lighting with any other corsair products and even with iCue supported motherboards. I would call this a nice high end keyboard for those looking for a quiet keyboard with RGB.

When i bought my new desktop it came with this tiny lil keyboard....needed an upgrade...im not a gamer but often prefer lower light. The lighting us wonderful i only twice have played with the color setup. Love it so much. Nice feel to upgrade back to full size and mechanical keyboard without all the extras needed for a gamer

I purchased this to replace a bombed out keyboard that wound up getting coffee spilled into it. The key spacing is different than my old keyboard, and has been difficult for me to adjust to. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just different from what I have been accustomed to. The lights are great and easily configured to whatever suits, the keys are crisp and have a definitive feel when pressed.

Smooth super nice key stroke feel for mechanical without the noise. Lights are vibrant and the software is easy to use. Gameplay is very responsive and have had no issues with FPS games. Combat games such as WOT are awesome. All around superb keyboard for the price.

It’s a good mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX switches. It’s affordable, the keys are not stupidly loud. It comes with a key puller as well as special/directional Angled keys for FPS games and MMORPG games. I like that it has a USB extension/hub. No problems yet Also like the rgb. Wish the wrist rest was better though as well as the risers were higher to lift/angle the board better

Following advice as frequently seen in gaming blogs, I decided to add a gaming keyboard to my new PC rig. Choice of a board is not easy to make when the only opportunity to "try" it is in the store-if it is there. Other than that, one has to trust the various blogs and tech sites that are out there. Most of what I read recommended a quality level board as a means of improving game play. The Corsair products seem to lead the pack and offer various factors ( Cherry MX, etc.) that could appeal to a user. I read about the switches and the reasons they are advised. One factor that guided my choice was quiet switching. I prefer the keying to relatively "not clicky"- if possible. First, I got the Speed Switch version as recommended by the salesman and as it was on sale. The switching was not to my preference. I returned it. Did more reading and decided on the Silent Switch design. I also got some silencing gaskets that can be added to keys on any board to decrease the keying sounds. The board was pretty quiet on its own and the gaskets were not that necessary. The board is smooth, nicely responsive and comfortable for my rather large hands. If you can swing one into your budget you likely won't regret getting it. It will last for years and be a faithful friend when it is only you against the machine. Cheers.

I was deciding between this Corsair STRAFE keyboard or the K70 MK.2. The STRAFE was on sale for $99, so I just decided to get it for the silent switches. The keyboard I upgraded from was the Razer Blackwidow Chroma and I am so happy to not hear anymore clicking noises at night. Don't get me wrong, I love the clicky noise the Razer Keyboard had, but it was just an annoyance to others at night when you're just trying to enjoy your game and/or type documents for projects and assignments. It's integration with Corsair's iCue software is great! However, it does have it's limitations regarding the customization of lighting options.
I really like the included wrist rest & its build quality. The dedicated media buttons and volume scroll wheel are a huge plus which eliminates the need for an "Fn" key.

This keyboard is awesome for those that are annoyed at the loud clicks that mechanical keyboards make but still want the feel. It’s very silent, smooth, and the volume control slider at the top right is really nice.
