Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I debated on this keyboard for a solid four of five months before going into a best buy, asking an associate if I could open the box to test the keys, and then immediately buying it on the spot. Keys/switches The keys are springy, much like MX Brown keys are, but are about the volume of a large membrane board, something like the old lenovo wireless keyboards if anyone remembers those. If you have any experience with the free keyboard from iBuypower it's about the same volume, maybe a little bit quieter. The keys are also very well spaced which is good if you are someone who has larger fingers, or tends to type on the edges of the keys. RGB The RGB lighting has a fully adjustable brightness setting in the iCue software, and of course full customization of colors and themes. Though personally I find anything other than a static color to be distracting the option is definitely there. Fit/finish The rubber wrist guard is comfortable, and almost necessary as the edge without it is quite sharp. The metal finish panel at the top of the keyboard is a very smooth brushed aluminium that feels very high quality. The rubber feet, and the wight of the board keeps everything well in place, even on a smooth desk. Volume rocker is responsive and has a good amount of resistance to it. All in all if you like the feeling of a mechanical keyboard, but MX Blue/Brown/Red switches drive you insane I HIGHLY recommend this board, you will not be disappointed.
I would recommend this to a friend get something else...especially if you use Mac

I had issues where keyboard wouldn't register until after I've logged in...which means I have to use my docked laptop keyboard before this keyboard worked

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i "upgraded" from a k55 to this strafe mk2 and it just does not work. it will lock up in the middle of a game or while the computer is sitting idle at random. i also use a m65 elite, this is the first Corsair product to give me any issue. will be returning and hoping it was just a defect.
