Yes, the Mic does not work, but the Boom Mic does. I enjoy the audio and look forward to the Xbox One future update that will make the boom mic unnecessary. The current price of $99 makes this a great value.

Great sound, easy installation. Make sure no one is trying to talk to you, because you will never know. Great at all volume levels, great price for such a good piece of hardware, and.... They're wireless!

The quality of the microphone is not good, not clear.

These headphones are absolutely great for gaming. The sound is very clear and crisp without any extreme bass boost or anything silly. The volume knob works very well for in game adjustments, and the headphones are light enough and padded enough to use for 8+ hours a day. However, due to the plastic design, for obvious weight and cost reasons, they will break down at the swiveling hinges and start creaking after about 4 months. Also, there is a major durability flaw with the plastic casing around the transmitter/receiver that plugs into the usb port. It has popped off leaving the PCB, the internal parts and electronics, completely exposed. I used some gel super glue and stuck them back together. I actually am on my 3rd pair of these due to the transmitter dying and the 2nd pair just flat out failed. My first pair made it 6 months, and my 2nd managed 7 months. I recommend getting the replacement plan for 2 years and all you have to do is keep the receipt and take them into the store and grab a new set... TL;DR : Good for the price, Good sound, Expected life of 6 months.

For the price I paid (after a price match to the corsair website) these were a great buy. I actually purchase one for me and for my wife, and have enjoyed them as we replay through Borderlands 2.

Plugged it in and it worked with no hassle. The only thing I wish it had was a way for me to hear myself talking as I use it as a phone headset.

After about a decade of no gaming, I have gotten back into it and these headphones absolutely rock!

Everything seemed ok with these headsets, except for the charging issue. An issue where even when plugged in, the headsets would not technically "charge". To solve this issue I drained the battery by leaving it on, then started to charge it. Mic and sound were ok, but this wireless headset just ended up being not the product i wanted.

Didn't work near as well as I expected. I found a headset at Best Buy for half the cost and it worked much better than this.

This is the first wireless headset I have bought and am coming from a Logitech G35 that my dog got a hold of. Overall, the headset has great sound quality unless there is dead air - there is a slight hissing sound that is widely published about on the Corsair website. Don't let this detract from the headset though, as if there is any sound coming through, you won't notice it. The build quality is pretty high and I feel this headset is going to last longer than the battery built into it requiring a new purchase later on. The volume control right on the headset is great and comes in handy when I need to reduce the volume when I go to let the dogs outside for a minute or two. The initial setup was kinda wonky. My PC recognized the wireless dongle and the headset, but I couldn't get the sound to go through the headset until I played with some Windows audio settings - set your headphones as the default audio output device. This is not in the manual that comes with the headset, although again, there are multiple posts on Corsair's forums about this. Corsair customer service is also top notch if you don't mind using their forum for a contact point. I was initially frustrated this headset, but now I can't live without it.

wanted a cheap wireless headset and that is exactly what I got...had to return them within one week because they locked up and would not come on or charge...bought a better brand

I've had these headphones for almost 8 months now and I really like them. I use them for both mac and pc, for video editing, and gaming in 7.1. The sound is good, the comfort is great, the battery life is good, and having a sturdy pair of wireless headphones is really nice.

Sounds is good, has much better bass then my old headphones. The wireless worked with very little effort. They come about half charged and i used them all evening and still weren't low so the battery is definitely good. I wear glasses and most if not all the headsets i have tried do not work well with them. These on the other hand worked great my ears are very comfortable i hardly feel my glasses with the padding. Overall i would recommend these to anyone considering them for purchase.
