It feels so smooth to use with my Corsair mouse pad. The ability to change the DPI on the fly is a very nice feature. It only has one portion that has RGB lights. Not a huge deal breaker but it would be cool to be able to customize more of it.

This Corsair Harpoon Mouse was one of the three devices I evaluated. Its a corded mouse so I would not have to worry about low battery conditions. It has two additional programmable buttons on the side. The mouse comes with an App that allows all the buttons on the device to be programmed on a per-application basis to perform often-used commands (e.g. copy/paste in MS Word, forward/back in a browser, etc.). Also, the App allows for the programming of the RGB LEDs on the mouse for various lighting effects. But it was a little more expensive than I would like to spend for a mouse. After my evaluation, I need to deduct Stars due to problems I had using the App. But the problems might be related to my continued use of the Windows Vista OS on my desktop computer. The problems I had are that the App would sometimes forget my programmable button assignments. Other times the App would forget my RGB lighting assignment. These frustrations caused me to return the mouse after less than a week of use.

I might have no need to switch mouses since this one is excellent so far. There’s two buttons on the side of the mouse that are nice to use for quick access as well. Made my learning experience that much easier
