Worst headphones used
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Glitches and rapidly disconnects and reconnects when playing any game with windows power management off with official Corsair drivers. Glitches and boosts mic if not using drivers and using something like voicemeeter every 3 hours of use. Do not buy if looking for cheap wireless headphones, feels nicely made physically, but terrible usage wise with included dongle.

The do-it-all headphones that do it all well!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My last 4 pairs of full-ear headphones have been Corsair, so given the opportunity to see what they newly brought to the table was a welcome opportunity. Here's what's new - #1 - Dolby Atmos (7.1) , #2 - Bluetooth! - #3 the continued ability to use the PC USB dongle - #4 - SUPER lightweight! - #5 - extreme range (distance) - #6 - fantastic range (audio) - #7 - up to 24 hours of battery life I've found myself in a bit of a pickle - I don't want to listen to anything with it's built-in speak anymore - if I can pair these with a device, I do it! My TV, my phone, my computer, my gaming console, my projector. They are just that good sounding, and being as light as they are, you forget they are on your head and start to shut out all outside distractions. Charging is done via USB-C this time around , a welcome change to make them just that more modern, and the surround sound on them is breathtaking! Corsair - keep it up - you continue to impress and continue to be my go-to brand for peripherals !

Not for me.

A nice lightweight wireless 7.1 headset by Corsair
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wasn't sure what to expect from a 7.1 wireless headset, as I normally just wear earbuds when I play games, but figured I'd give a 7.1 headset a shot; I am Pretty happy I did. I was expecting the headset to weigh quite a bit since it was wireless (battery etc) but i was pleasantly surprised to find that this headset was very lightweight. The sound was very good and the presets seemed well balanced. The unit was easy to sync up via both bluetooth and the wireless dongle that came with it. Charging really didn't take long at all with the supplied usb C cable. pros: The headset is able to connect w/bluetooth [5.2] or wireless[2.4ghz], comes with a wireless adapter to use it right out of the box if you don't have bluetooth. I like that when you put the mic up, it shuts off and down it turns on, a nice feature that it tells you as well when the mic is off or on. Fast charging, long lasting battery. Lightweight design (9.4oz [266g]). The Ear cushions for me felt soft and well formed to my ears. Nicely placed volume control. The 7.1 sounds really good, I ran a bunch of youtube 7.1 testing vids and the sound positioning sounded quite good! Decent software, that allows for firmware updates, equalizer, setup of auto shutoff timing, as well as some other on screen options that you can turn on (battery indicator and so on). Playing FPS games I feel like I can detect where people are at a lot better than before which is also pretty nice. cons: Cant really come up with many bad things to say about this headset, ....maybe that the design is closed back, but not 100% noise cancelling, so you can both find yourself talking too loud sometimes or you might hear more things going on in your house than you want, i personally don't mind this but i know some of my friends that either are 100% for noise cancelling headsets or 100% open back so they can hear everything around them outside of what they are focusing on, so figured it should be mentioned. overall, If you are looking for an affordable entry level wireless headset, with 7.1 surround, I would recommend this one without hesitation. I know I will be enjoying this for awhile to come!

That'd be correct, some settings depend on the headset being used on a compatible PC with iCue installed. If you have any doubts before purchasing any of our products, please don't hesitate reaching out to our team directly right on our site.

Comfortable and light gaming headset!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first thing I noticed when opening this headset is how light it is compared to others I have yet it still looks and feels premium. This headset offers versatility in terms of being able to connect with the included RF receiver to use on a PC or Playstation and it even has Bluetooth builtin so you can connect it to devices that support Bluetooth. I tried it with my phone and the experience for mobile gaming is good and you can still answer calls with it too. The audio definitely sounds best on the computer when you set it up with iCUE which gives you even more capability in terms of enabling/disabling EQ's and Dolby Surround sound mode. For sound quality, the drivers these are great with balanced lows, mids and highs right out of the box with no tweaks to the EQ's. It's loud but not too loud with clean/clear audio and the wireless allows you to walk around with them. I was able to walk all around my house and upstairs without them cutting out. For me what I like most is how comfortable they are where they are light and the materials they are made of just make them comfortable to wear for extended periods. Battery life is excellent, and though they don't have RGB I think that it's fair to sacrifice that to get more battery life though I wish the mic had a red indicator on it to show when the mic is muted. Overall, they're simple, and yet really nice and I'd recommend them!

Possibly defective
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mic doesn't pick up enough of your voice to register on your computer. Corsair-HS55 wireless headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Corsair-HS Series HS55 headphones are extremely light weight and awesome in clarity of sound. They are 100% clearer than any other brand of headphones that I have owned. Everyone that I have been in discord (the gaming chat app that i use) has told me that the mic is 100% clearer than the cheap ones I have. that's just some of the pros that I can give without going into the only one con which is the fact that they are not RGB which is the one thing that Corsair is big on in my opinion. Back to the pros they are Blue Tooth capable and have a range of 50 feet both on the WiFi side and Blue tooth, with the blue tooth you can connect to you phone, answer you phone, play music from your phone even the games on your phone. For the WiFi use you would need to go to the Corsair website and down load iCue 4 then plug in the dongle which comes with it from there you would check for firmware updates once that is done you can check the settings out and set them up for your own listening pleasure, they are very comfortable for someone that wears glasses and hearing aids for those who do wear them like I do. I actually was very impressed when I put them on and never got any feed back from them at all with my hearing aids in. In my humble opinion for any gamer they are 100% with the money!!!!

Supreme Sound Quality &
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset has supreme sound quality offering Dolby 7.1 surround sound. The headset is wireless and can also be connected via Bluetooth. The battery life is exceptional with up to 24 hours of life. I really like that the headset can adapt to PC/Mac/PS4/PS5 - making it usable for multiple members of my family who enjoy different console systems. The headset is reasonably lightweight and super comfortable. The microphone is Omni-directional which allows it to pick up all commands and interactions. It’s also rotates upwards for easy storage to prevent damage. The headset is white in color with gray accents making it very fashionable-which is important to young folks. The comfort head band has a plush cushion which prevents rubbing on the top of your head. The headset comes with a USB white charging cord. This is my first time with the brand Corsair but have been impressed so far. They do have a limited warranty that comes with the purchase. Controls are easily accessible on sides of the ear covers allowing for volume changes and connectivity. I give it 2 thumbs up!

My Little Gamer is Obsessed
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My ten year old got an inexpensive “gamer headset” after the holding when he received his PC Setup, while that was doing the trick, he was BEYOND excited to show off this headset to his buddies and gloat. Being wireless, this is so convenient to use and he doesn’t get all tied up in the connection to the computer (or, g-d forbid, pull out the connection and lose access to his buddies for a whole minute). It’s really comfortable, I tried it on and was super impressed by the comfort and it’s not heavy on his young head. We also love that we’ve been able to easily connect it via Bluetooth to his tablet so he can use it there as well. We have not maxed out the battery power, in one sitting, so I can’t guarantee that it lasts 24 hours but it really does charge super quickly and after 15 to 20 minutes of charging it was good to go for many long hours on a rainy Friday afternoon and evening. I’m really impressed with the quality as it looks like we’ve, now, got a great piece that will last for quite some time!

Great Entry-Level Headset
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HS55 is a great entry-level gaming headset that offers wireless connectivity and comfortable ear cups. In this review, we'll take a closer look at the design, sound quality, and features of the Corsair HS55 WIRELESS gaming headphones. The Corsair HS55 WIRELESS gaming headphones have a sleek and minimalistic design. The headset is primarily black with a few accents of gray on the ear cups and headband. The ear cups are large and fit comfortably around the ears, providing a good level of noise isolation. The headband is padded and adjustable, making it easy to find a comfortable fit. The HS55 also has a detachable microphone that can be easily removed when not in use. The headphones are made of durable plastic and feel sturdy in the hand. The ear cups are attached to the headband with a metal slider that allows for easy adjustment. The headphones also have a few buttons located on the left ear cup that allow for volume adjustment and microphone muting. The buttons are well-placed and easy to find while wearing the headphones. One downside to the design of the HS55 is that it doesn't fold up for easy storage. This can make it difficult to transport the headphones when traveling. The Corsair HS55 WIRELESS gaming headphones offer good sound quality for the price point. The headphones have 50mm neodymium drivers that produce clear and detailed sound. The bass is also well-represented, making explosions and gunfire in games sound impactful. The headphones also have a good level of noise isolation, which helps to immerse the user in the game they are playing. However, the noise isolation isn't perfect, and some outside noise can still be heard when wearing the headphones. The HS55 also has a few sound presets that can be selected by pressing and holding the volume button. The presets include Bass Boost, Flat, and Voice. These presets can help to enhance the audio experience depending on the content being listened to. The Corsair HS55 WIRELESS gaming headphones connect to devices via Bluetooth. The headphones have a range of up to 40 feet, which is impressive. The wireless connectivity is reliable, and I didn't experience any drops in signal during testing. The HS55 also has a battery life of up to 16 hours, which is great for a wireless headset at this price point. The headphones charge via a micro-USB cable, and the charging port is located on the left ear cup. The Corsair HS55 WIRELESS gaming headphones have a detachable microphone that is easy to remove when not in use. The microphone is flexible and can be adjusted to the user's preference. The microphone also has noise-cancelling technology that helps to reduce background noise. The microphone quality is good for a headset in this price range. Voices are clear and easy to understand, and the microphone doesn't pick up too much background noise. The Corsair HS55 WIRELESS gaming headphones have a few features that are worth noting. One of these features is the ability to connect to multiple devices simultaneously. This means that the headphones can be connected to a PC and a phone at the same time, allowing the user to easily switch between devices without having to reconnect.
