Despite having a single 3.5 jack, this is only for headphones. Mic needs the usb adapter which is also needed for the surround sound. The mic does pick up fairly quietly, but is sensitive enough to pick up mouse clicks.

These are incredibly comfortable and can be used for long periods of time. However, I feel like the sound was awfully quiet. This made it difficult to rate the sound quality. Mic quality seems to be good for the price.

Great headset for cochlear implant!

My son is deaf with a cochlear implant so we shopped hard for the correct headset. The earcups are large and shaped well to ecase the device that sits on back of his ear. Also the glasses foam is perfect use case for where the wire from the processor comes out to the magnet on the side of his head. Corsair should promote this great feature for the deaf, as this headset is great.

It works extremely well for teleconferences and voice-to-text writing. The built in microphone is very sensitive and translates voice very well to videos made for social media. The headphones are very solid and block out most noise while speaking and listening.
