After some time it does hurt my ears a bit, but not all the time. The issue I have is after a year and a 1/2, the ear cushions and leather cover are falling apart completely and no way to fix it on my own. Disappointed with the quality. I don't abuse them at all. Never dropped them. I'm very careful and I don't even use the headphones every time I play. They are stored on a stand.
