I really liked the sound of these, especially during single player campaign games. Getting the right fit was a bit of a struggle due to the headband adjustment design, so they were either too loose or too firm. Earcups were really comfortable, though.

The microphone is so clear it is crazy for a wireless headset. Out of the box the headphones could be better but EQs fix that. Wish there was a little more noise cancellation but I am still really impressed with the headphone

This is not a very good headset. Usually, the audio quality is fine/tolerable, but sometimes it sounds quite bad, losing a lot of detail while being marred by what sounds like quite heavy static interference. There's no environmental factor that I've been able to trace to this problem, it just seems to come and go. Another problem is that the wireless range is marketed at 60 feet, but for me it doesn't work past 10 feet (with one section of drywall in between). Also, by default, the device has loud, obnoxious audio prompts ("mic off, mic feedback off!") that happen when you turn on the device, or move back into the device's anemic operable range. These prompts can be disabled using the garbage Corsair iCUE software, but the setting seem to get reverted at random. I purchased these to replace my Steelseries Arctis 7 headset which with a worn/broken USB port. I was very satisfied with my old headset, but didn't want to wait days for a replacement set to arrive, so I took a chance on these. That was a mistake. The Arctis 7 specifies a range of 40 feet, which in my experience was roughly accurate, even through walls; I could use them to listen to stuff on my PC while doing the dishes in the next room, which unfortunately isn't an option with the HS80. The audio quality on the old headset was also notably better than the HS80 can manage even when it's not doing the static thing, and I don't consider myself to have a particularly refined sense of hearing. I recommend that you avoid these unless you can get them for, like, $50 or less and you think you can tolerate the issues I describe above.

Corsair makes excellent products, and this is one of them. I also have a void pro and I bought this one to use as either personal or work headset depending on which I like more for gaming. I ended up choosing this one for gaming over the void pro and I'm happy with the choice. Despite being an excellent headset Corsair has some serious software issues with icue that could turn some buyers away from the product. Just know that if you have issues with their software you are not alone, it's consistent. But I overlook this for the great product once I get everything working. Only lowering ease of use due to software not the headset itself. The icue software is easy to use, but has other issues that can sometimes cause it not to work properly.

Fantastic headset with solid build quality. Mic quality and clarity is perfect. I exclusively use this headset for my ps5. The sound clarity is great for a wireless headset as well. For its price point you really can’t go wrong.

I like the headset because you can customize the audio quality and the lights on iCue. Also comes with Dolby which you can customize through them. Overall a great headset

The audio quality is very impressive for the price and the audio customization from the dolby app gives you the flexibility to adjust the audio to your preference wether its for gaming, music, etc. Great product overall!

I upgraded from a wired in version and the price difference was worth the upgrade. The battery life isn't as good as I hoped, but the wireless freedom is worth it.

Very good headset for its price comfortable only thing takes getting used to is the mic is a bit far from the mouth 5 stars connecting it wirelessly takes a minute but not a problem.

Absolutely impeccable sound quality from a wireless headset. Corsair has outdone themselves with this more affordable headset which even has a better mic than the virtuoso. Fantastic quality materials make this headset truly premium

This is the first gaming headset I have had. It is terrific, hearing all the background noise and being able to pick it out from the others is amazing. I wish my headset for work sounded this good!

They’re pretty good. e only thing I don’t like is that they are not noise canceling head phones. That’s the only draw back.

Very comfortable headset! Sound and Microphone work great. Battery level indicator system could be improved. I wished I could adjust mic boom (not bendable). Overall a good headset for the price. Dolby Atmos is nice but keeps losing it settings this is a software glitch of Dolby not Corsair. Fix your software Dolby! Prob because its the free version lol. If you have the best hardware but software does not work then the product is useless. Fortunately Corsair software is good, take a hint Dolby!

Sound quality is great and they are comfortable but battery life could be a bit better.

This headset is awesome. Comes with a free Dolby atmos subscription and is easily compatible with voice mod to make the mic quality sound better.

I love the sound, however I was disappointed that this doesn't have the same setup as the hs65 has. You have to use a third party app to control your surround sound. The hs 65 uses ique to adjust. Also the battery doesn't even last 1 day for me even with rgb turned off
