Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the excellent cooling performance, vibrant RGB lighting, and ease of installation of the Hydro Series H100i RGB Platinum. Many also praise its quiet operation and good build quality, although some users mention challenges with the software and cable management. A few users noted compatibility concerns depending on the case and motherboard used. The size of the cooler was also a point of discussion for some customers.

Very Asthetically Pleasing, Yet Cheap Materials

The Good: Its beautiful and my temps dropped 5 degrees. Plus it came with preinstalled thermal paste which was nice (although yet to be seen how it will hold up compared to Arctic MX-4). The Bad: For how expensive and beautifully designed it is there are BIG flaws with materials. First problem is with the back bracket. The studs in each bracket move and can be adjusted in order to fit the board, HOWEVER, you really have to have a tool to move it as 2 of the studs did not want to move on the bracket and were stuck. For a moment I believed I had a faulty piece of equipment that wouldn't move at all. Second, The screws on the actual cooler do NOT screw all the way in. This includes both the screws to fix the fans to the radiator AND the screws to fix the radiator to the case. Had I had the time and not been in a bind I would have saw the numerous reviews on various Hydro series models saying there are BIG flaws with screws. Lucky for me, I have spare screws lying around and matched some that work OK, however for the price I am VERY disappointed. Thankfully the most important screws, the screws that secure the pump unit to the board and CPU work flawlessly. That is the most important thing as it would be useless otherwise. Third, minor complaint but must be said, cable management is a pain with this. The cords seem to come out at awkward angles especially the USB connector to the board. If your CPU is at the top of your board and your USB connector at the bottom you will have a thick black cord looping around your entire board. I tried to loop it behind in the cable management openings in my case but I have a full ATX tower and the cable isn't long enough to loop and still plug in. Overall: It seems like a solid cooler in terms of getting the job done especially if you want RGB features. I will keep it because I am going to build a new PC by the end of the year but I will probably go with Cooler Master for my AIO cooler.

Pump RGB ring failed quickly after purchase otherwise worked flawless at keeping 3900XT cool in a 4000d airflow case. Replaced unit under warranty through best buy with the Capellix a much better unit.

Bought this in store to replace the old version from 4 years ago. Had to return to store. Old version supplied their own mounting bracket for fm3 sockets, this one requires the stock fm3 mounting bracket which I no longer have.

      Hello,

Is the cooler faulty whatsoever? Or did it not include something the box said it would include?

It leaked all over my system and destroyed my motherboard, CPU, M.2 and RAM. I lost more than $800 I contacted corsair and opened a ticket, they asked my to fill a form and send pictures, it have been more than one week since I provided the requirements and didn't hear back. I am calling the customer support daily and they say the damage and claim department is a separate one and there is no direct contact Just stay away and save your money
