My computer does not recognize it, so the iCue software that is supposed to control the lighting and the pump does not work. Looking online, this seems to be a common problem. It is either a bad USB cable (this uses a micro-USB to USB header cable), or an incompatibility with certain motherboards. Corsair tech support has told other people that they are working on a fix with the firmware, but as far as I can tell, no firmware update has been issued. The unit technically works without the USB connection, but without the ability to control the pump or lights, I will probably have to return this. I have 5 PCs with Corsair AIO coolers, and this is the only one that has this problem (but the USB cables on all of them don't fit very well)

I just want to be able to control it through my motherboard and match all colors and fan profiles.. But you can't you must use their software to fully control anything its the stupidest design ever. Overall the performance is good on an i7-9700k, but the design and requirement to use a specified software just to control one individual thing in a computer is deserving of 0 stars as its literally the only thing that can't be paired with everything else in the case. So everything but that syncs up to my motherboard its just annoying and worthy of a full refund if it wasn't such a pain to take out and in with all the wires that are attached to the pump I would take it out and return it.
