Easy rgb controller install/ software setup with lots of extra ports for more fans. Takes standard 3 pin fans also on the controller so its interchangeable with standard fans. Implied corsair reliability. Looks cool. RGB makes it faster

Not true at all... but I know how people are - rips open the package and just start going at it without any forethought. Just look at your chasis/case and the cooler block/fan for 5mins. It will all come to you.

The tach cpu capable is very finicky and can easily be broken or come defective. If the tach cable does not work the bios will not be able to detect the rpm of the pump causing the pump and all fans to flash red. When loaded into incur it will give you a pump error message.

I can live with the noise issue to be honest, but I'm pretty surprised it died on a brand new build in 11 months.

Unfortunately Corsair iCUE software does not work in the slightest and Corsair service gave up on trying to fix it.

I originally had it on an I5-8400 adn it never went above 65 Degrees under full load. Now, I have an I9-9900k and I've never seen anything above 73 degrees @4.7Ghz on all cores.

I didn’t really need it in my PC but I was super bored lol. Noticeable temp drop with my 3700x. Went from 63 degrees at load with an AMD stock cooler to about 57-58 degrees, which was expected. This is purely for people who see high temps consistently or have poor airflow.

The amount of rgb and color customization is crazy! And the best part is the fan and rgb hub, as it is better can the commander core and came for free with this purchase
