Great cooler, terrible and dangerous software
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The cooler is excellent, and should, depending on the fan curve and the CPU, make your build run very cool and quiet. It has enormous thermal headroom compared to a stock Ryzen cooler - this is a huge, beautiful upgrade. The only problem is the software; buggy, awful, and sometimes dangerous - it can ignore fan curves and cook your CPU and GPU until you notice it - means that I cannot recommend this. If you do research, you will find that iCue, aside from being ridiculously enormous in size (1GB for a fan controller software? What on earth is there?) is dangerous and hugely buggy. Buy a NZXT cooler instead.

Excellent. Very quiet, and beautiful colors.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced my aging, noisy h115i with eh H100i Elite and so far, I am quite impressed. Cooling a 3700x at stock clocks, I have no complaints regarding temperature or fan noise. The star of the show for (and what steered me towards the elite vs the platinum) is the inclusion of the Commander Core. IMO its better than the Commander pro I was preparing to purchase at 75 dollars. The light show was never truly necessary, but once I found a few settings I liked, I don't mind it all. This is a good unit, and I look forward to getting 3 to 4 builds out of this cooler the same way I did from the h115. You CAN get similar performance for less, and RGB isn't a necessity. But the software integration, convenience and control you get from iCue are where I am willing to justify the premium.

nonexistent (really!) support on failed AIO
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pump failed afer 2.5 years. That's not the bad part - things happen - hts the totally absent support. Went online to get support from Corsair, and chat support was not available. Their phone support was only accepting voice mails but disconnected before I could leave one. I called corporate's number out of desperation and when I eventually reached someone in sales they hung up on me when I explained that I was only talking to them because literally nobody else would answer. I will NEVER buy another corsair product ever again and warn everyone considering one of my awful experience trying to get an RMA from them. Trash support = trash company. Avoid.

Awesome
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks great & does the job. Had to switch out fans for thinner fans. But that has to do more with the size of my case & ram clearance!

Great Cooler, a little noisy.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic cooler. Just upgraded my processor to a 5900x and needed a cooler that would fit in my case. While heavy gaming + streaming my temps never even saw 70C. Only complaint that could be had is that it gets a little noisy when the fans start really spinning. Its not insanely loud, but loud enough its a little annoying. Still definitely worth the purchase.

Good, When it Finally Worked.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This AIO is a good choice if you are looking for an upgrade or replacing a dying air cooler like me, when you get it to work. That being said, it is kind of a challenge to set up. I have an ASUS TUF X-570 MOBO and had to tinker with this to get it to work. When I set everything up, I used the AIO header on my MOBO thinking nothing of it. Why label it as a WP header if you're not supposed to use an AIO with it? On the first post after install, I received a "CPU Fan Failure!" alert and down the rabbit hole I went. If this happens to you, here's what I had to do to fix it. I had to replace my PSU due to the Command Controller this plugs into not working with an already used Sata cable (It was plugged into my SSD and my other in to my HDD). I had to buy a PSU with 3 separate Sata cables to make this work as the mounting in my case precluded me from just moving a drive to make a single cable reach both drives. Still received the error and I reached out to Corsair support. As of today, that ticket has not been answered (Day 6) and I would not bother trying their customer support. Then I decided to move my pump to the CPU header and change it to PWM in the BIOS and peg it at 100% all of the time. This got me finally out of the straight to BIOS fan error but my idle temps were in the 70's. I reapplied thermal paste and checked again to the same result. I had plugged all of my case fans into the controller in the back and when I moved the two on the AIO to the 1st and 2nd slots on the controller, my temps went to around 35 at idle. I don't know if I just got a touchy AIO or what but this was a bear to figure out. It runs fine now, but if you have to rely on Corsairs customer support...I hope you don't have to use your computer for anything important for a while.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought as a replacement and it lasted less than 30 days. Original Corsair water cooler lasted 8 years. Pros: -Was available in store -cool colored fans -Easy to install Cons: -Failed after <30 days -Hard to tell if the pump is actually on besides vibration. - 2.5 times as expensive as an air cooler
