If you have functioning ears, steer clear.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If it wasn't reducing my temperatures, I would give it 1 star. I bought this after owning two other Corsair AIOs. I will be returning it as soon as my other cooler comes in. Like many people, I knew of Corsairs reputation, having experienced it first hand. Since I had no issues before, I decided to go with the newest (and on sale) H100i Elite. I wish I hadn't. Install went smoothly, with any extra time due to my own moderate incompetence, but once I had installed it in the case and plugged everything in, that's where the ease of use went away. I decided "hey, since there's a Commander Core included, I'll use that for all my fans." Big mistake, as the software wouldn't let me control even my other Corsair 4 pin fans, let alone the 3 pin case fans that I have. No big deal, I'll just go and plug them into another plug and work around it. Then came the biggest issue: the noise. "Why are my fans so loud" I asked myself. I tweaked settings, changed fan headers, and still, I could not get rid of the buzz. I started unplugging fans, and there it was. I found it. All it took was every single fan to be unplugged, and I realized that the pump in the cooler was worse than a mosquito buzzing while you're trying to sleep on a hot summer night. iCue (pun intended) some more messing with software. After trying EVERYTHING I could think of and over an hour of googling, I learned that I am not alone in my issues. The pump at lowest setting ("Quiet") runs at 2300 RPM, which is insanely bothersome. If you want to annoy your neighbors, use the EXTREME mode, and I'm sure that within minutes, the cops will be banging down your door with noise complaints from three counties over. As I type this review, I can still hear it buzzing away, even through my headset and over a video playing in the background. If you hate your ears, buy this cooler, if not, steer clear. TL:DR, The pump in this is way louder than it should be. Don't buy it if you don't like noise.

Posted .Hi Thomas,
3-pin fans cannot be controlled, while 4-pin PWM fans on the other hand can. If iCUE is not picking up the connected 4-pin fans, then a system restart may remedy the detection issue. Sorry to hear you experienced a buzzing noise with the pump. Please get in touch with us regarding this issue, we'd be look into it and help out: support.corsair.com

Avoid ICUE software
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The cooler works fine. It can be loud at times but I run it on silent mode fan profile to reduce noise and its a comfortable setting. My issue is with the ICUE software. Corsair has some of the worst servers around. Downloads and updates take hours with multiple errors and failed updates. I would avoid corsair products until they address this.

bad cooler and less than satisfying service.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked the look and cooling right out of the box but a few within a few weeks I start noticing is disconnecting on and off constantly. got so annoying I had to turn of the disconnect sound in my settings... RMA does not cover cost of shipping and took months to get an answer. 2 thumbs down.

It was messed up out the box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went to Best Buy to pick up this pump and I connected everything where it was suppose to go and soon as I booted up my PC it made a noise and went to blinking RED. I downloaded iCue software I got a Notification saying “Pump Overheated Contact Corsair Support” on first boot up .. So I’m definitely returning it when my replacement gets here but if this one doesn’t work ima have to switch to a different Brand.

Pump is super loud
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a cooler master 212 and it was quiet and i decided to get a liquid aio because i had just bought a ryzen 9 3900x. This pump is way to loud and i wouldn’t recommend it. I measured it’s decibels and it’s in the low 60s.

Posted .Hello Jack,
How was this measured (please reach out with more information)? As far as it being too loud, you can also set the pump in a different profile that accommodates your wants/needs for the system; all this would be in iCue. Our team is ready to help, you can contact them here: support.corsair.com
