Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX CPU Cooler's excellent cooling performance and attractive RGB lighting. Many appreciate its straightforward installation and quiet operation, while some find the price point high and the size of the radiator substantial. A few users expressed concerns about the included fans and the cooler's software. Overall, the positive feedback on cooling and ease of use outweighs the negative comments regarding cost and some minor component issues.

this is for sure a splurge cooler, but with icue and the custom curves it does the job for my OC'd 10700k I did swap the included thermal paste out however

It's a little expensive for what it is (and generally a little overkill) but it keeps my 5800X nice and cool. Typically around 40c idle. RGB looks very nice, but I'm eventually planning on switching out the fans.

It's one of those things that claims that your CPU will be super chilled. YEP! It's super chilled! Can't go wrong with Corsair's AIO.

I'm going to keep this short, but I loved the cooling capabilities on this, but getting it installed was a BIG pain! It has the worst mounting system I've ever seen. It's terrible. Ryzen 5950x It's not fun I struggled, then went to reddit and noticed many others with the same complaint. It's just bad. As for cooling performance it's great. I don't like the pre-applied thermal paste so opted for my own, and noticed quite the improvement with it.

Pump being way too loud, overshadows the good

As other reviewers say, the pump whine is ridiculous with this unit. I actually thought it was defective before searching for similar customer issues. I've always had Corsair liquid coolers, but this is by far the most annoying pump I've ever had. It is constantly buzzing/whining even on the desktop, doing nothing. It's louder than the 5 fans currently running in the case. No lie, this pump makes more noise than the AMD 6700XT reference card I'm currently using! That is saying something because AMD reference cards are known to be loud and hot. I read that Corsair changed the pump manufacturer used for their AIO coolers, so if that's the case, bad move by Corsair. I have 5 Corsair products total now, and this is the first purchase I've regretted. It's WAYYY too expensive to have a problem like this. Also, in some games like Destiny, just by having your camera facing different objects in-game, you can change the sound and whine of this CPU cooler haha. Once again, with that happening, I thought the crazy noise was coming from the AMD GPU, until I opened the side panel and got down in the floor to listen. Nope, it's this CPU pump. Sounds very similar to my dorm-size refrigerator running. One more thing. When I reboot my computer, and sometimes when I'm shutting it down, the AIO fans ramp up to what sounds like full RPM speeds. It gets concerning loud. Enough to wake up someone in the same room sleeping. With all that said, the h150i keeps the CPU very cool and the RGB is cool to use with my other Corsair products, but the noises this pump is causing kind of ruins everything else for me.
