Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the K100 RGB keyboard's quality, customizable RGB lighting, and comfortable key feel, especially on the optical version. Many appreciate the included wrist rest and the keyboard's responsiveness during gaming. However, some find the software less than ideal and consider the price to be somewhat high. A few users also noted its larger size and sensitivity might not suit everyone.

We bought this gaming keyboard for my son. It is very nice and he likes how the keys work on it. He especially likes the light up part of the keyboard. Definitely a great buy!

This is easily the best keyboard I have ever owned, tons of customizability thanks to the rgb, removable keycaps, and the macro keys, super comfortable, the wrist rest is super comfortable, typing is a breeze, finding my home row is super easy, especially with the included textured wasd keys, Corsair knocked it out of the ball park on this one.

Very good quality and feel. Very happy with how precise the switches are and the lighting. Once you figure out how to use the iCue software from Corsair lighting is super nice. Highly recommend.

My son loves this keyboard. It was an early Christmas present and it works excellent. He enjoys playing his games and says he gets quicker response from playing games.

The K100 is beautifully built. The wrist pad is extremely comfortable and the extra set of keys come in handy. The dial is cool but is sorta pointless in my opinion. Its a cool keyboard to have if you can afford it, but at that price point .. you’re better off with the K70.

Mechanical goodness with fun RGB. Keys are responsive and also provided that hidden gem of old, clickyness. Well worth the small price to pay. One important note though, Corsair RGB software does compete with other software, took a little bit of work to get RGB set-up correctly.

After a key broke on one of my two K95 Platinum keyboards, I decided to replace it. My choices were the K95 Platinum XT and the newer K100. Both seem to be excellent keyboards and I was a bit concerned about going from the Cherry Brown mechanical keys (on my Platinum) to the Optical keys on the K100. My fear was that they would be too sensitive, especially where about 70% of my PC activity is for office work, as opposed to gaming. Regardless, I chose the K100 and so far, I'm very pleased with my choice. The keyboard is solidly built and although the optical keys *do* require a much lighter touch than the Cherry Browns, after a few days of use, I found that I had adapted perfectly to the K100's sensitivity. (Although, I can see how some may still prefer the mechanical keys.) As for the optional 4K polling rate, I'm a casual gamer and so I can't really tell the difference between that setting and the 1K, but I'm sure hard-core gamers could tell the difference. No matter, I'm very happy with this keyboard and if my other K95 Platinum should ever break, I would easily choose the K100 as its replacement.

The Corsair K100 is a beautiful keyboard! It is wonderfully customizable when paired with iCue software. One feature I especially like is that it has a USB port where I can plug in my mouse for easier access.

Great build quality, tactile response from keys and action wheel, and very nice cherry switches. Unfortunately the software does not like to work with my computer. The WIRED keyboard likes to randomly disconnect from my computer, disabling the RGB and additional functions like volume control, music control, and action wheel. Maybe due to running AMD, regardless I’d expect more from a $200 flagship keyboard.

I was very happy with the opto mechanical keys on this KB. I had recently purchased a K60 and HATED the mush so i went out and spent another hundred on the k100. definetly not budget friendly and there are older model corsair mechanical keyboards that will get the job done but I can't say I regret picking this up. It will be clicky when you want it to be and not too clicky when you want it to be. With that being said, if you have a heavy hand get ready to adapt or fatfinger keys. it is super sensitive. Ive adapted which is why i can still use my heavy hand and get the clicky sound and lighten up on the keys to get a more quiet yet satisfying key press. G keys i thought would be useful but I can do without it. I like the wheel at the top. you can program it to jog a track or even use it as an editing wheel to jog frames. i love the volume control on this kb. it makes it easy to just swipe with your index finger not taking too much time away from the keys. icue is super confusing for custom lighting that i just dont bother making custom schemes

This is by far the best keyboard I have used. I thought the K95 Platinum was amazing but this K100 is beyond that in every way. The changes Corsair made the the kb are awesome. The PBT keycaps for one, the texture makes them so much better. The multifunction wheel on the top left gives you the ability for on the fly changes and that is a great tool whether you are gaming or doing other work. I love the new wrist rest, it could use a bit more padding but it beats the previous plastic on the other Corsairs. I think the 4000 Hz polling rate is going to future proof the K100 for a long time. When the games catch up with this and the 8k polling on the newer mice just released, it's going to be a war of who has the fastest polling rates stacked onto the fastest monitors. Let the games begin! Some things I wish to be improved would be thicker padding on the wrist rest. Then make the feet longer to bring the keyboard up. I think the keyboard is too low for me, I like a bit more height. The improvements with the PBT keycaps are so nice but the stabs on the space bar were rattling after a couple days light use. If the others start sounding like that I'm going to be not very pleased. So I hope they hold up. Rattly, tingy cheap sounding presses are not going to be tolerated anymore Corsair. As they should not be ever. However it is an improvement over the previous models. BTW Kudos on the silver switches. They are wonderful.

Excellent key feel on the optical version, RGB is nice and smooth. Paired with the Nexus this keyboard is a pretty outstanding streaming keyboard. You can program the keys along the left edge like a Streamdeck so unless you need a lot of macros you could get away with this alone.

This keyboard is very expensive and was purchased as a gift for my son as he requested it. He said this is the best keyboard he's ever had and would recommend it to anyone. The only drawback is it is very expensive.

I purchased this keyboard for my new PC - replacing an older Corsair keyboard. This keyboard has built in streaming functionality which was nice and the RGB worked seamlessly with iCUE. Overall, the buttons felt great and the quality - with metal frames and solid mechanical keys, shows through.

The wrist rest, while good, isn’t a soft or supple as the wrist rest on a Razer Ornata. Key travel is great, stable and confident strokes, very light key weight due to the OPX switches. If you like heavy keys, go with a brown or a blue cherry MX. the iCUE integration with the wheel is awesome, with functionality switching being a high point. Lighting customization is fantastic, with per-key RGB lighting that is more accurate than the K95 preceding it. The added lights on the side aren’t super visible if you have a darker colored desk, but they look great from the proper angle. The USB pass through works like a charm, with no discernible input latency if you choose to use it with a mouse. Macros are easily customizable through ICUE, with the only low point being that the G keys require a separate piece of software (stream deck, elgato) to customize. Overall, this is a keyboard for someone with an expensive taste, but it delivers for the price on every front.
