Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the K100 RGB keyboard's quality, RGB lighting, and key feel, frequently praising its smooth and responsive typing experience. Many appreciate the included wrist rest and the ease of customizing the lighting. While some find the software complex and the price high, the positive feedback on the keyboard's performance outweighs these concerns. The optical switches are also a frequently cited positive feature.

    Awesome but Slightly Overpriced Keyboard

Really good low-latency keyboard. The price is a little much but you get a good amount of extra features and can customize everything about the keyboard in Corsair's iCUE software. The switches are not tactile feeling at all which is one thing I don't really like but they feel closest to Cherry MX Reds to me. The key travel is VERY short and the distance at which the switch registers a key press is even shorter. So short, that I still to this day struggle with miss-inputs from resting my fingers on the key caps, especially the A key for some reason. Overall, it's a really good keyboard but like I said before, I think it's a little overpriced.

I've owned two K95 Platinums and one regular K95, and this outperforms all of them. It's a great typing and gaming keyboard, and the optical-mechanical switches are quieter than my previous Cherry MX browns. I haven't really found much use for the wheel yet, and my only negative is that the WASD keys fall off once every month or so (I use the textured and contoured WASD keys), and of course the price.

This keyboard has an ANON 4000Hz chip inside it and in the ICUE software you can go to 8000Hz. It responds very fast to every click I do and feels great to the touch. Only issue I am having with it is that almost everyday the ICUE program forgets it exists, the macros stop working, and I have to replug it back in. It could be cuz im using a USB 3.0 extension cord but I have no choice as my pc is to far away for the cable. It also doesn't work in the bios because the ANON chip always runs at 4000Hz even if u change it in the ICUE software to 1000Hz. You will have to make the keyboard enter bios safe mode to use it in the bios or have a second keyboard to mess with bios settings.

I purchased this as an exchange from another keyboard. The speed of the key reregistering is amazingly fast. It is very sensitive so takes a little adjustment to avoid accidental keystrokes. I'm not a huge RGB fan but love the 44 zone control. Scroll wheel is great for scrolling through movies. Wrist pad is the most comfortable I've ever used. Overall this is a great keyboard, just wish it was a quieter.

Works great for intended use (gaming). RGB lighting quality seems extremely high. I would never want to use this for extensive writing, however, as it is insanely sensitive and the keys sit relatively high to the board.

Didnt think I would spend this much on a keyboard but so far it is worth it. Everything seems to be very high quality. Keys aren't too noisy. My only nitpick would be that the keys take a little gettinf used to coming from standard membrane keyboards. They actuate very early and sometimes I accidentally don't press the key down all the way, think I didnt type and go back to repress the key, thus entering it twice. Very minor nitpick and im sure in time ill get used to it.

Really love this keyboard! Took a bit to get used to how big it is but it's been amazing to use. There are so many extra keys which is really helpful for when I'm streaming and need more hot keys.

Keyboard is amazing, cables are braided and keys are backlit with customizable RGB, backboard of the keyboard is metal and highly resistant to damage including the key caps. It is a mechanical keyboard however it is not excessively clicky. I would certainly recommend this keyboard to anyone who uses a computer for long hours.

    What Latency?

I replaced my K95 that had cherry MX brown tactile switches with this K100 keyboard. I was skeptical over the optical switches, but I can feel the difference in responsiveness. The wrist rest is made of plush foam, which is much more comfortable when compared to the K95. I do miss the tactile bump and the actuation point is very small, and because these switches are linear, I find myself accidentally pressing keys when I rest my fat fingers on the keyboard.

I'm pretty happy about this purchase so far. I owned Corsair K70 red, low profile and Filco M2 brown. The press pressure is between low profile and Filco, which makes sense, but is perfect for me. For Filco: I need to think a lot while typing, too much press pressure distract me. For low profile: my hand usually stay on the keyboard while thinking but it's too easy to mistype something. Not sure it's a feature for this model or just my keyboard. RGB is awesome, which is a plus for me.

The entry price is high, but how often do you really need to replace a keyboard? The build quality is nice and I love having the icue integration. The system I use this on is equipped with 10 QL 120 fans and this blends nicely in to the lighting setup. So far I like the short throw of the switches but it took some time to get used to as it is almost an instant press. Another thing to consider too is that you can replace the key caps now with more custom keys as Corsair have gone to a standard bottom row.

Upgraded from a membrane Corsair that was a few years old. Quite the jump in quality and perfimance. This is my first mechanical keyboard and my only complaint is I make typos very regularly so far, the switch travel is dramatically smaller than I'm used to. No fault of the keyboard, just a learning curve.
