Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the K100 RGB keyboard's quality, RGB lighting, and key feel, frequently praising its smooth and responsive typing experience. Many appreciate the included wrist rest and the ease of customizing the lighting. While some find the software complex and the price high, the positive feedback on the keyboard's performance outweighs these concerns. The optical switches are also a frequently cited positive feature.

Nice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this keyboard, I recommend going to your nearest bestbuy store for they usually have most of the top of the line keyboards on display so you can actually get a feel of it. I was going for the Logitech g815 but I had tried the k100 and the keys felt buttery smooth. The only thing I would like to see Corsair improve on is the dedicated macro keys(the G keys on the left) to maybe have them spaced out more, maybe offset, or even textured like there other keyboards for I constantly keep hitting G1 instead on escape. Other than that customization is endless with this.

Bugatti of the keyboard world!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're looking for a top end heck with the budget keyboard, this will probably do the trick. Key action and feedback is excellent and the mechanisms are best of the best. Optical, sealed and ultra responsive at the available 4ms setting. Backlighting is excellent and if you want flashy blingy RGB it's got you totally covered. If you don't care for that stuff, it's completely manageable as well. Very satisfied with this keyboard.

Solid Keyboard, terrible software and support
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am between a 3 and a 4 on this rating, because I wasn’t able to use the full functionality of the keyboard due to Corsair’s poor iCue integration and even worse customer service. The keyboard itself feels very solid and has some heft the frame, which I prefer. Has a good deal of additional buttons, including multimedia and volume adjustment. The iCue scrollwheel is the only piece of hardware that seems a bit flimsy. To appreciate the full functionality of this keyboard, you must install the iCue software. This would allow you to assign macros, adjust rob, create profiles, etc. Unfortunately I should have did my research on this software prior to my purchase, and saw the multitude of issues (both comparability and functionality) with iCue. Long story short, after installing the iCue software, anytime I launched it with the keyboard plugged in I would get the BSOD. When customer service finally responds to my help ticket (3 day wait time between each of their responses) they are of no help at all. Ended up returning the board since it shouldn’t be worth the headache. Was hoping to be able to utilize the multimedia buttons and macros, but I’ll be going back to my Ducky which doesn’t have all of these bells and whistles but has never given me any issues.

Gaming keyboard not a Typing purpose.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a huge Corsair fan, so my desktop built is full of Corsair components. I purchased this keyboard in order to finish my Corsair setup. My priority purpose of PC is reading and writing, not gaming. So, I am not super satisfied with typing feeling with this keyboard, but okay overall (due to ICUE setting). If your priority is typing and not having Corsair setup, please buy another one like RAZOR Huntsman (I do have that one and that is above and beyond that this one in terms of typing).

Keyboard Warrior
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will continue to purchase the Keyboards that Corsair makes, I have yet to break or have one fail me, I am just to lazy to clean them when they get dirty so i tend to buy a new one and give the old one to someone else.

Smooth Typing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been waiting for my K95 to finally kick the bucket to get this keyboard and that has finally happened. I love Corsair products and this does not disappoint. It is much more quite then the 95 and seems smother. Would 100% recommend.

Amazing keyboard for gaming and general use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a keyboard that had wrist support for my wrists (getting compressed nerves these days). I don't game very much, mostly just a lot of Final Fantasy XIV. Super surprised at how amazing this K100 is! Typing on it is a dream. I hated the loud clacking sound that my Razer Huntsman Elite made. This one uses some other form of key design that's decidedly much more quiet but still can be heard when clicked. The lighting features and the iCUE knob controls blow anything Razer has out of the water. I can easily load in different profiles that I built for various modes: gaming, working, relaxing. The G keys on the left side are crazy awesome especially if you're playing any sort of MMO. I wasn't sure how I would like the volume knob roller but I instantly liked it better than Razer's side knob because I can adjust volume without looking at the keyboard easily. This keyboard is a pleasure and I'm thinking I should buy another one to hang onto in case anything ever happens to this one down the road.

Little bit Pricey but its worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Most parts on my PC are corsair so this fits in well, love controlling the icue profiles and the keys feel perfect - I love my old cherry red switches but this keyboard feels just as responsive. Only complaint is I wish I had to strike the keys a bit harder for in game. With the laser tech now seems they could program a key press depth option. But really that's it. Huge step up from my K70

Sweet.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly one of the best purchases I’ve made for my computer setup. Much better than the K95. The soft, padded hand-rest for the keyboard is high quality, and the Cherry MX Speed switches are much better than the previous. They sounds better, feel better, and look better. It feels durable and quick. Features are great. A bit expensive for what you’re getting, but overall a good purchase.

Overall great keyboard…
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this keyboard because of my investment into the Corsair eco system. I was interested in a consistent RGB integration and this was Corsair’s latest and greatest. The loudness of the click is typical for mechanical keyboards which is a little off putting however the tactile feel is good. I got the optical version for registering and it is sensitive to say the least and probably the only negative I can give the product. It will take me many months to get use to it.

Very impressed
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the way this keyboard feels. Was a little worried at first using for both work and gaming, but the smoothness from the keys has improved my performance for both. The build quality is very high and the lighting is bold but not distracting. Replaced a Logitech G902 with this keyboard and definitely feel and appreciate the difference. Quiet for mechanical, no bump, and pretty sensitive.

Excellent keyboard w/ minor software issues
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really loving the keyboard but there are a few minor issues that make it where I can't rate a solid 5 stars. Mainly software issues with iCue. I use the keyboard for gaming and WFM. I set up the G Keys for various shortcuts and they're great, but almost every time I start my computer I have to manually force quit & restart iCue to get the GKeys to work at all. There was also a strange, one time (for now and hopefully forever) glitch where I was trying to set up a the Windows emoji keyboard shortcut (Windows + .) as a key assignment for the 0 key on my number pad because I never use the number pad, and for some reason all this did was force my keyboard to do ........... repeatedly on every window, no matter what I did, even after deleting the key assignment. I couldn't even get the Windows menu to come up to shut down the computer because it started automatically typing .................. in the search box, lol. It was fixed with a manual restart of the computer, but yeah. My only other "meh" aspect is that I thought I'd be getting a lot of use out of the Control Wheel, which is why I sprung for this keyboard over some of the cheaper Corsair models, but I've barely touched it at all. I use the G Keys far more often. I'm hopeful that once I have time to research how to create custom modes I'll use it more. I tried to make a mode for toggling through images in Photos to no avail, but I also didn't spend much time trying to figure it out, so YMMV.
