Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the K100 RGB keyboard's quality, RGB lighting, and key feel, frequently praising its smooth and responsive typing experience. Many appreciate the included wrist rest and the ease of customizing the lighting. While some find the software complex and the price high, the positive feedback on the keyboard's performance outweighs these concerns. The optical switches are also a frequently cited positive feature.

Feels so good to type on, I use it for work and gaming. It improved my typing accuracy and words per minute. The soft wrist rest is so confertable. The absolute best I have ever experienced. Corsair makes the very best, quality you can see and feel. The RGB lighting is the very best I have ever seen on a keyboard. Customization is endless…

Big upgrade over razer blackwidow elite
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this as a present from my wife yesterday. Man it feels lightning fast and responsive compared to my razer blackwidow elite. Setup is easy with icue software. The switches feel great, not loud either. Very smooth feel to it. It feels really fast. The rgb lighting is good too and easy to setup. The dial can be customized. Overall I am very happy with it. Just need to get a new headset and new mouse to get rid of synapse off my pc forever.

Awesome keyboard.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a Corsair keyboard. Loved my K95 so going yo the K100 was a joy. I like the wrist rest much better. The RGB os better than the K95. Though lately iCUE has been having some issues. Other than that love the keyboard.

Got it for half price, review is with that in mind
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly only got it because i saw it listed for 109.99 in store, they honored this price for me so ill review it based off the price point i got it for... For the price i paid, I am extremely satisfied with this keyboard. Pros- -The RGB on this thing is AMAZING, unparalleled. -its built very well, all the parts feel like a quality part. -has a lot of features -comes with a different style of key buttons for commonly used keys. -comes with a very comfortable wrist rest. Cons -I am unsure if this is how "expensive" gaming keyboards are, since ive never spent more than 30$ on a keyboard, But the keys make louder noises than any other keyboard ive owned.

Great keyboard at a fair price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.3.5 years strong at the point of this review. This keyboard has held up well and has had 0 issues. The feel is still nice, the pad has not worn out, and the color options are great.

A mostly great keyboard!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An overall very high quality keyboard. The keycaps feel great and the keys themselves do not need a lot of effort to press down. I personally was looking for a tactile experience and was a little concerned heading into the linear Corsair OPX Switches. Overall the switches feel great and are easy to press and have great travel. If you love RGB this keyboard definitely impressed me. Especially compared to some of the other Corsair offerings. The included palmrest also has memory foam and is very comfortable to use. It also magnetically detaches which may make it easier to clean or transport. However I have a few cons with this keyboard. The actuation point for the keys is very high. In fact I compared it to my Lenovo IdeaPad laptop and it honestly actuates at almost the same distance. Some people may want this is they want the absolute fastest reaction when in FPS games and what not but it may also mean you have to type almost perfectly otherwise you may press other keys you may not even realize you were even pressing in the first place. The second is the Corsair iCue Software. While it's easy to initially start and get the updated firmware installed, in the end I could never figure out how to properly get my personal light setting actually downloaded onto the keyboard. I gave up and I'm alright with the included patterns already included in the firmware. The third gripe for me is the iCue wheel. The quality of the wheel seems to vary keyboard to keyboard. The display samples I tested at Best Buy were solid with no shimmy. However me and some reviewers out on Youtube noticed the wheel was not as solid as the display samples. A little disappointing when some people spend over $200 when not on sale when I got it. I did expect stuff like this to be completely sorted out for it being the "Cosair flagship". Hopefully you get a better wheel than I did! I will also note a couple other features. This keyboard is also compatible with the iCue Nexus which I hope to purchase in the future! It does mean that this does mean that this keyboard needs to plug two USB Cables in if you want that capability. Something you may want to watch out for if you are short on USB ports and are too lazy to buy a dongle. The second is that the keyboard also comes with extra keycaps. They feel more durable with a different design and the WASD keys are more contoured to fit your fingertips better when gaming. I chose not to install them as they did hinder my ability to type efficiently when not gaming but that's my personal preference. Overall a great product from Corsair and I hope to use this keyboard for years to come without many issues!

Great Keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this up after using the Razer Black Widow Pro wireless for some time. I really love how the key are no where as clicky as the Razer, they are pretty sensitive though and it took a little getting used to. The RGB is nice and it can do all sorts of colors and motions but I kept a my a simple blue / white rotation. The wheel on the top can be used to perform a set list of tasks, but honestly I’ve never really used it or cared about it. The build quality of this keyboard is too notch. This is also a large keyboard so if you have a small desk or not a lot of room, this may not be the one for you.

Premium feel
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this keyboard. The look and feel are excellent and its nice and weighty. Very easy to clean as the keys are on a flush aluminum surface with nothing for any dust Or hair to ger stuck on. Very high quality. If you have the money to spend you will probably love it. There are many more economical options for significantly less that will gove you %80 of the experience. Side note: i love that it has usb ports on the keyboard for pass through. Makes my life so much easier.

everything you want
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard is extremely fun and you almost can't wait to use it and play games on it. Given the price point on this keyboard you expect nothing less but the best. This thing is the best money can buy. The RGB lighting combined with iCUE software makes operating this keyboard simply. I guess my only complaint on this keyboard is the wheel on the top left. Just seems a little cheap I would say? The idea behind the wheel is nice but it could've been better. My favorite thing about this keyboard are the side RGB lights. If you're a fan of corsair products this won't be an exception of their quality products. Enjoy!

Fantastic keyboard for gaming and everything else!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome keyboard with great lighting. The quality is great, the features (function buttons, sound wheel, USB passthrough, etc.) are fantastic. It is a bit pricey, but for something that I touch literally every day it's worth it. This one is mine but my wife has the clicky version we wouldn't trade them for anything else. If you like the style / feel of the linear version but want the clicky sound, it's available and has just slightly more of a "bump" in the keystroke but is equally amazing with the "click".

Worth it for my first switch keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first mechanical or OPX Switch keyboard. So far I am loving it and it feels great to me and I feel as if i can type much faster than my old keyboard. The RGB also looks great, especially since I replaced the keycaps that come with it with some HyperX Pudding caps that allow the RGB to show off even more. Only negative so far is that with the pudding caps for the space bar, the space bar only has one RGB spot in the middle, thus making it dim out on the edges. Wont have this problem if you keep the regular keycaps. The stock wrist pad reset is also a great change up for me. Never used one before and I always wondered why people used them. They are great and the quality of the one that comes with this feel nice. Has a good texture feel for me.

Shiny
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Real good. Keys are a little bit more narrow than my last keyboard, and they feel like I'm clicking on a cloud, so I will sort of drift off into a daydream and then look back and there's a huge row of 'ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd' wherever my cursor was and I couldn't even tell I'd accidentally pressed down on the key. Syncs up perfect with the rest of my Corsair stuff and the iCue software. Wrist rest is squishy and nice.

Amazingly fast keyboard!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Another great upgrade from the k95 platinum rgb. I often speedrun older resident evil games and a good keyboard can help you a good bit. The keys are ultra responsive. I have a 10900k so i do use the 8k polling feature. The keys barely press in and activate. Thats the only downside, if you have even a tiny bit of wrist rest on the keys you likely will press them without trying. The included magnetic wrist rest is reallt comfortable. highly recommended.

Good, not great.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to replace my Corsair K70 due to dumping a cup of coffee in it. I elected to go with the K100 since it had some additional features over my K70 even though I was hesitant about the OPX keys. I really liked the feel of the Cherry MX keys on the K70 but the K100 with the MX keys was not available at BB. Build quality is good, I like the Corsair stuff and that part does not disappoint. I've been using it for about a week or so and I'm still mixed on the keys. They just don't feel the same. It's a good keyboard and I have yet to get in and program the macro buttons but to be totally honest, if I had a chance to swap it out for the Cherry MX version I probably would.

Ping sound ruins otherwise great keyboard...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love just everything about this keyboard. The RGB implementation is second to none. It has a nice soft actuation resistance and while I would have preferred the actuation distance to be around 1.5, the 1ms is still good. With that said, what REALLY turns me off is the "ping" noise when the keys bottom out against the metal back plate(it's not the switches). It is ANNOYING. Some keys are worse than others too. I had this on a K95 I tried with MX Blues and returned it. I got this because I thought the Optical keys would be better without ping. But I was wrong. It is almost worse because the keys switches themselves are so quiet, you hear MORE of the ping. This type issue seems inherent on the way Corsair makes these keyboards, as I have seen these complaints about this on the K70 mk.2/K95/K100. They really need to add some type of sound deadening material to the inside of their keyboards. The ping noise, to me, is one of those sound that once you hear it, you can't NOT hear it. It may make me return it. It is that annoying to me and just shouldn't be happening on a $230 keyboard. The other thing that bothers me is the inconsistent feel of the keys that use stabilizers. They feel really soft nothing like the rest of the keys. Pros Great typing feel although the 1ms actuation time takes getting used to and may cause more typos than you are used to. Great new font on these keys. No more stretched out lettering, STANDARD bottom row. GREAT RGB implementation. They are second to none here Nicely padded wrist rest Space bar is a lot quieter than previous Corsair keyboards Extra Macro keys Neutral The new wheel. I haven't really found a good use for it yet. Cons Ping noise on many key presses when bottoming out, some worse than others. IMO, this type thing is unacceptable on a keyboard of this price. Simple sound deadening material inside would have fixed it. Volume wheel has absolutely no tactical feel to it when moved, like notches to keep it from going up/down too much. It just spins smoothly. The big wheel on the left has a nice tactical feel when spun but not he volume wheel Keys that use stabilizers feel very different than other keys. Very soft feeling like it uses a dampener ring. Inconsistent feel is again, something that shouldn't be happening on a $230 keyboard. Overall, I want to love this keyboard but between the Ping sound and the inconsistent feel of the keys that use stabilizers, I'm not sure it's worth the price or a keeper.

Upgrade from old K70
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a Corsair peripheral user for about a decade now. I purchased this to upgrade from my longtime, trusty, 7 year old K70, MX Red. It has taken some adjustment trying an optical switch. I expected that though. You can create some incredible rgb patterns once you learn the software, which there is a learning curve. Keyboard itself is very solid, and has great weight to it. The keycaps have felt nice so far.
