Useless after a few months
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked great for about six months. Suddenly had severe connection issues, would randomly disconnect from the compute even though the power cord was untouched. Keys randomly started sticking and not responding. Better to spend your money on something worthwhile.

Great Keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded my older keyboard too this one. Trying for an all Corsair build and it’s great. I like that it’s not too loud when you type but very responsive.

Space saver without scrimping on features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a bit of a keyboard snob. I have several go to brands and Corsair is one of my favorites. My most favorite is their K100. I use it for work and gaming daily. Corsair has had ten key less keyboards in the past but they are stepping up their game (pun intended) with the TKL 60 Pro. I've been tinkering with several of the brands that have full customizable keyboards where you can change out the switches and key caps but those can get pretty cost prohibitive. For a small form factor racing simulator I have I needed a compact keyboard to set to the side of the seat sled. The TKL 60 Pro is exactly what I needed. The 60% size affords me a bit more space where I can also use a mouse to navigate the game menus. The optical keys are a bit clicky but tactle feedback is excellent. Stroke travel is perfect for my liking and the response is extremely quick. I was hoping the switches could be swapped but from what I can tell the switches are fixed. But, if you don't like the keycaps there are other standard sets you can purchase if you wish to customize the K60. The weight of the keyboard and the rubber grips is on par with most gaming units and keeps it from sliding around your desktop while you are deep in game play. The LEDs are fully customizable using Corsair iCue software. You can easily switch between standard effects or customize to your liking. I actually use a bit of software called SignalRGB for a complete system LED setup. Corsair is fully supported. The only issue I have with 60% keyboards is you give up dedicated media keys but instead you can use function keys with fn key pressed to shortcut media control. All in all it's a great keyboard from one of my favorite computer accessory/component manufacturers. 2 thumbs up Corsair. The OPX is a solid performer. I'm happy I added it to my keyboard stable.

Almost Perfect...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it comes to Keywords, its either TKL or nothing. Corsair has absolutely killed it with this TKL Keyboard, minus a few things this keyboard will satisfy even the hardest to please. From the Optical Switches to the Bright RGB to the portability this is about as good as it gets. Aesthetics/RGB- When it comes to aesthetics, corsair doesn't play games. The RGB on this keyboard is as good as it gets. Pair that with the iCue software and it is the best combo in the game giving per key control over the RGB. The brushed aluminum look and clicky keys are quite satisfying; The Keyboard connects with a detachable USB type C cable which is great considering it isn't a wireless keyboard, however, the cable isn't braided which doesn't make sense to me as all my other corsair keyboards come with braided (albeit non detachable) cables. The thickness of the keyboard is quite substantial and is about twice as thick as my G915 but this is likely due to the optical switches. This isn't really applicable for many people but if you want to travel with this keyboard it is to be noted. Optical Keys - The corsair optical keys are quite clicky, comparable to a Cherry MX Red but not as much travel - maybe even a hybrid between a MX Red and a MX Brown. I enjoy it for gaming, however, they are not the best keys for typing long form emails, school work or anything that would be lengthy in the amount you are typing due to the keys having a decent distance to travel for actuation. Value - at $130 we are getting into the higher end of keyboards. You could make the claim that it is double the price of the HyperX TKL but that would not be an apt comparison as these keys, switches, build and lighting are in a higher class. The better comparison would be to the Razer Black widow (v3) and the Steel series Apex Pro which it is about the same price if not cheaper while delivering the same if not better quality. Conclusion- Compared to all the other keyboards in its class, this is by far my favorite that I have tried. While this isn't a wireless keyboard and is a little beefy it is easily forgivable with the detachable USB C cable, great per key lighting and optical switches. I find this great for most gamers looking for a clean aesthetic and a portable one if needed. I recommend going to bestbuy and trying out the optical keys as they are the next generation of keys and I quite literally fell in love with them and the feedback while reviewing this unit. While I am a full size keyboard kind of person, I will be looking into a corsair keyboard with optical switches to replace my aging G915. Outside of bestbuys excellent product support you will also find corsairs to be of quality with pretty good warranties. Corsair makes good products and stands behind them.

Solid feel & solid response equals great keyboard
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Corsair has long been known for great computer components - and in recent years they've brought that experience, attention to detail and quality craftsmanship into the world of peripherals, particularly focusing on "gamer" oriented devices like this keyboard. And all of those attributes that has made a name for Corsair are on display here. First, the build quality - this keyboard is SOLID. I'm a pretty "hard" typist and there's absolutely no flex in this thing at all. You can feel it in the weight and see it in how thick it is compared to cheaper keyboards. This was meant to last. The optical switches aren't "clicky" - they're more akin to linear mechanical switches in their feel but they respond FAST. To that end, they're great for fast twitch gaming and fast typing (though I did have to get use to the speed - for the first few minutes, I was double typing a lot of characters). They aren't quite silent, but your sound / loudness will vary with how hard you type, unlike clicky keyboards that are always clicky. The RGB is a nice touch - if you don't install the Corsair iCUE software (which I recommend you do) you get sort of a cascading rainbow animation. With the software, you can set and store your favorite pattern on a per key basis and the colors/lights really do POP. You don't get dedicated media keys here, but there area media secondary functions on the function keys which are always close at hand. This also keeps the keyboard smaller - which is kind of what you want in a TKL keyboard anyhow. Overall, if you're in the market for a fast, responsive TKL keyboard this is a good option - with great configuration, a solid typing experience and durable construction, it's well worth picking up!
