Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the K60 PRO TKL's overall build quality and vibrant RGB backlighting. Many appreciate its compact size, satisfying key feel, and fast response time, especially considering the reasonable price. However, some users find the keyboard a bit noisy and the software slightly challenging to navigate.

I bought this because it looked cool (usually I'm more selective, but occasionally I'm impulsive) and because I haven't had a corsair keyboard in a long time. First, the whole thing is very light, which is actually nice. Second, MAN do these keys fire with the slightest touch. I didn't realize I bought optical switches, and I'm used to the resistance in even linear switches. That has been the struggle, retraining my hands to ever so lightly rest on the keys. I wouldn't recommend this as your major productivity keyboard. If you graze the wrong key, if triggers every time. But I like the challenge and I am adjusting (these chubby, old fingers are getting more nimble.) Perfect form factor (F keys are a must if you value convenience). I refuse to install corsair software to adjust the lights and stuff, but you can do a little lighting with hotkeys.

Excellent keyboard, but a few minor shortcomings

If the rating scale was on a 10-star rather than a five, I'd give it 9/10. 4/5 is too low, but this keyboard isn't 5/5, hence the rating. Build quality is excellent. The OPX switches are great. The RGB fine, though I've just set it to white and static. I'm not using the iCUE software because it's a massive application and I don't need any of the features. Minor shortcomings: 1. Corsair should have used PBT keycaps. The polycarbonate is OK, but they'll definitely wear much faster and they hold on to fingerprints much more than PBT. 2. The actuation distance is too short for me. I'm not using this keyboard for gaming, just for a TON of typing, and I realize the 1mm actuation would help with gaming, but prior to the K60, I was using a keyboard with almost double the distance and slightly heavier actuation force. While the lighter K60 keys are great for long typing sessions, when paired with such a short actuation, sometimes I find that I've been holding down a key when I'm barely just resting my fingers on the keys. So the K60 will require a change of habit, not a big deal, but longer actuation would have been my preference.

Considering the fact that there a only few compact mechanical keyboards, this one is pretty good for gaming as well as wfh purpose. The keys are soft and the feedback provided by them is just right. One may take a couple of days to adjust to the spacing between them but is not too much of a learing curve.

Quality of the keyboard is great, feels solid. Switches are smooth, rgb looks good*, weighty *the software for the rgb is bad and it takes a lot of effort to make it look any good

My daughter has used this same keyboard for several years. It has held up well and seems to be very well built. She really enjoys the color changing feature of the background lights.

Great keyboard. The fast response time and feel are amazing. I never did like keyboards I can't feel when I am typing and this one hits all the marks. Not to mention the color-changing is mezmorizing.

Great keyboard. Great tactical click from the switches. I've used 100% keyboard but have been eyeing a ten keyless for awhile now and I don't think I've ever go back.

great keyboard, just lube the stabilizers and your good to go, it's not that hard to teardown uses 2 types of screws and 2 clips 1 by the escape key and 1 by the arrows then lift away from you and there will be a cable under the PCB , you need to do this to remove the spacebar stabilizer the other ones come out by just removing the switch, they are not soldered thats what makes this keyboard great, 1 more thing the keycaps show a lot of oil from hands they are not the greatest of quality.

Feature rich keyboard, especially at the sale price of $75. The RGB lighting is very even, though less bright than some competitors, and the accompanying software is lightweight and simple. Quality is excellent as with most Corsair products. Minor downside is that optical switches take some getting used to due to lower travel time required to actuate a key press. It stops being an issue after a week or so, but if you're prone to fat fingering keys it will happen frequently with these switches.

I have the same keyboard in Black so I thought Id go for it. It is beautiful! I love the stainless with the white. I bought it for my wife. She enjoys it!. I put it on her desk as a surprise for when she got home. I typed with it a little and I must say use a mouse mat or something! This thing on a glass desk is very tin like in its sound. The clank is high pitched and not pleasing. I bought some O ring dampeners and will try that out soon. Over all I love the keyboard but that sound is not nice. Final con that everyone is aware of if you have used Corsair products. iCue is garbage. Not intuitive but I was able after too long get the keyboard to have a rain effect that she likes. I was also able to have a ripple effect after every key press as well. She thinks it's cool.
