The CORSAIR - K65 RGB MINI is the keyboard I choose when gaming on my PC. The action and smoothness of the K65 is perfect. Input responsiveness is amazing and the overall feel is excellent. You can customize shortcuts, LED back lighting patterns and even individual keys! The K65 works perfectly with any other Corsair products you may have via the iCue software. If you are in to gaming, or just want a 60% keyboard, the K65 will not disappoint. It will take some getting used to if you normally use a full sized keyboard. In my case, I just use 2 keyboards and swap them out when I am not gaming. The K65 replaced a different brand 60% keyboard I had and I am much happier with the Corsair. Feels better in every way.

First thing I wasn’t particularly a fan of was the “radiant” space bar. Some may like it, but that was a bit too much RGB on my space bar. Thankfully (for me) it’s optional and this kit comes with a typical style spacebar with a single slit for light to come through! And if you don’t like a single key on it, you can buy full sets of a wide range of colors from the manufacturer. Aside from that, this has got a lot going on for such a small form factor. It’s clearly portable given its size. And it has a real small footprint on my desk. I love having a fully functioning keyboard and that usually coincides with it being a full sized, bordering on enormous by comparison to this, and leaves me with little real estate to move or have room for anything else. What it doesn’t have in size is made up in functionality. Download the iCUE software to take full advantage of it’s macro recording and RGB customization. This keyboard literally has everything a full-sized keyboard has. You just have to make the effort to learn how to take advantage of it. Dedicated volume buttons aren’t something you are going to get in a keyboard this size. But the pathway to controlling such things is right under your fingertips. Also, the USB-C charging is highly appreciated. This really should be the standard by now.

The keys are very clicky and a little on the louder side, but it is a great keyboard for my small hands and it has so many beautiful colors! It fits my white computer build perfectly!

Uncomfortably small, but the keyboard does have decent key stability. Save yourself $70 and get a Red Dragon instead.

The K65 RGB Mini keyboard is a 60% mechanical gaming keyboard with Cherry MX speed keyswitches. It can be operated in 2 modes. The software mode controls the keyboard with the Corsair ICUE software downloaded from the WEB. This provides control over lighting, macros and many other features. The hardware mode is used when the ICUE software is not present. In this mode, the keyboard uses lighting settings and macros previous recorded. The keyboard provides 8GB of onboard storage for this purpose. Keyboard controls include lighting, special functions, macro recording, keyboard shortcuts, and control shortcuts. In actual use, the keyboard was very accurate and responsive. The keyboard lighting was bright and easy to modify. Because it is a 60% keyboard there are no row of function keys, no arrow keys, and no numeric keypad. This may require some adjustment for users when not used for gaming. In summary, I find the K65 RGB to be a highly customizable gaming keyboard that is well suited for those wanting a high quality and unique portable gaming keyboard.

It’s very smooth and is compatible with a variety of consoles whether it’s pc or ps4 or even Xbox.
