Doubling key presses on a lot of keys.

I bought one and it had a repeating "y" key (whenever you hit the Y key, itt would place two of them). I swapped it out for another the next day (I shopped in store for this), and that one waited until just after thee return period to start having the same problem, but this time with a lot more keys. I'm not removing the doubbling it does, so you can see how ofoten it doees it. I have to constantly go back and delete eerrant letters, and it substantially slows my ability to work (don't know if you noticed, but the space bar did in there a moment ago). I'd' expect to have paid no more than $20 for a device that has this many issues (appareently such a common manufacturing issue it's on both of the ones I took home). I paid a lot more than $20.

Double Typing Key Chatter

My keyboard keeps double typing and having key chatter. Doing a force update works temporarily until I reboot my computer which I do everyday. So everytime I restart my computer - I also have to do a force update so the keyboard doesn't do double-typing. Customer service asked for all kinds of ridiculous information. I had to type a long code for them, install a a application that pulled all kind of data from my computer and put it in a zip file which was too large to email so I had to make it a google drive link. They wanted pictures, and the receipt.. All just so they can tell me "Nothing is wrong - you need to send it in and pay for shipping and when we get in in 2 weeks then we'll send you a new keyboard" which means I'd be without a keyboard for a few weeks. Come on!

Broken after 1 month

A month in and the 2 bottom rows of keys are going insane, typing by themselves. I’m getting random slashes. the space bar is inputting 4 spaces when you just press it once and the Function key no longer works. Thought it might’ve been the iCue software so plugged it into a different computer and it was having the same issue. I tried every fix in the book but nothing helped. I didn’t opt for the extended warranty and now I’m sitting on a $70 piece of junk. :/

You may turn off the backlight via our iCUE software. You may even save the lighting profile without backlight to the keyboard's onboard memory, so you won't require iCUE To be running. In regard to the keys - please contact support via our website, we'd appreciate the opportunity to further look into this and provide assistance.

Way too sensitive

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mechanical keyboards are overrated, if you have been used to membrane keyboards for a long time, I would NOT recommend this product. Main issue here is the sensitivity is outrageous! You will activate any key just by resting your hands on the keyboard, you cannot rest you thumb on the spacebar without activating it like It's ridiculous. Furthermore, you can't even feel that you "pressed" the key, it requires such a minimal amount of force to activate that you won't feel it until you see the results on screen. Whether gaming or typing, I found it to be very annoying and actually made me less accurate in both because I was constantly trying to keep my hand above the keys at all times so that I wouldn't accidently press them. I simply cannot use this, I went back to my beat up, gross old K55 but I don't have any unintended key presses while writing this review, and it feels nice to be able to relax my hands again by resting my fingers on the keycaps.

Had to warranty twice.

Specifically , this keyboard suffers from Key Chatter. I had to exchange this keyboard multiple times before I had one that worked. Googling around, this is a common occurrence. This key chatter meant that it was impossible to type without typos. Once I finally got a unit that worked, I loved it. Volume knob is great, color and feel is great as well. But seriously Corsair, fix the chatter.

Stroke after a couple months

In my opinion, there's much better options out there, would not buy this again.

However, my reasoning for the low star review is that this keyboard causes too many double or triple typing of letters and numbers and even spaces during typing which causes me to have to keep correcting what I'm typing. I even attempted to type slowly to figure out if it were actually me and not the keyboard and I got the same result.

Double registers keystrokes

Pc flagged it as a virus. I still downloaded it and updated the firmware. Still double registers keystrokes. I type 80wpm and I just can't accept so many mechanical errors. Money down the drain. Yes its a gaming keyboard but it still needs to type accurately. Purchased the Logitech MX and productivity increased exponentially.

Bad experience with K70 Core

First and probably last keyboard I buy from them.

Don't buy. Waste of money.

I just came back from work, keyboard not lightning up, no typing, nothing. It was always double typing, too sensitive, too loud. Just didn't like it, but I guess the keyboard killed itself. Before it was 3 stars as at lest it typed. Now zero stars.

Broken keyboard, a shame

As you can see in my review. I will be retturning this keyboard as I've neever faaced this problem in any other keyboaard i've owned. Sorry corsair. Really wantted to keep this.
