Best keyboard I've used yet
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this on sale for about $70. I was originally looking at a K55 since my father has one and loves it, but I figured for $20 more, why not? Best decision ever. The Corsair iQUE software expertly controls the keyboard and guides you through some of the features. and it's SO nice to type on. I also love that knob in the upper right corner, which can be used to control not just volume, but also scrolling and a few other features. 12/10 would recommend

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the looks of this keyboard, the feel, and the lights. I also like how it only needs one USB connection where my other Corsair keyboards need two.

Your Fingers Deserve Better
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Corsair K70 Core confused me. The Core has a pretty standard layout and seems to be made of durable construction. The black anodized brushed aluminum chassis gives it a professional and elegant look, but the key caps are a combination of black and gray, making it look like it doesn't know what it wants to be. It has an odd tall, rotary dial for volume adjustment that looks completely out of place. In fact, I'm not sure what role the K70 Core plays in Corsair's keyboard line. It's one -- I'm not entirely sure exactly -- of about 50 keyboards offered by Corsair that is dubbed a “K70". I went to Corsair's website to get some more information on the K70 Core and typed "K70 Core" in the search and it brought up six pages of results, and the Core was not listed on the first page, which contained 11 other iterations of the K70 keyboard. In fact, I couldn't find it on any of the remaining five pages. I did finally find the page with a Google Search of Corsair’s website, but it was listed with an additional (CN) designation in its model name. Not sure what that means. Selecting “Overview” takes you to product photos and the key points are written in a language I’m not familiar with (see phots) even though it’s Corsair’s English language site. “Tech Specs” were in English, but only listed a couple of interesting things. I later found what the “(CN)” designation means -- a Chinese keyboard layout. This explains the foreign language in the “Overview” section, so apparently they’ve not yet bothered posting the product info for the English version. Anyway, enough about that… let’s get to the keyboard itself. The keyboard uses Corsair’s own RED switches. I despise these switches. They feel a lot more like membrane keys than mechanical switches. There’s no “click” when they engage, nor is there much feeling or feedback. Key engagement is inconsistent at best. In general, the keys are sensitive and engagement point is high. But sometimes keys aren’t quite so sensitive, and the key needs to move a bit during the press before engaging. As I write this, pressing the “d” and the comma key results in two or three characters being placed on the page almost every time, though it’s not just limited to those keys. I happens across all the keys, but to a much lesser degree. I am constantly having to backspace to correct multiple characters being placed during a key press. I’ve used cheap Chinese membrane keyboards that type with more precision. The K70 Core is compatible with the Corsair iCUE software, which allows you to customize various aspects of the keyboard. You can create macros, assign key bindings, adjust the polling rate, manage the onboard profiles, and more. The software is user-friendly and intuitive, if not a little bloated. Users love iCue or hate it, but it does give you a lot of options to fine-tune your keyboard. Unfortunately, I can’t really verify any of that as my iCue install does not detect the keyboard, even though it’s updated to the latest iCue version. The K70 Core has some additional features that are intended to make it more convenient and versatile. It has media keys available using Fn and the volume dial, and some other things that I really don’t feel worth mentioning. Overall, I found the Corsair K70 Core a disappointing keyboard that under delivers on performance and aesthetics, though admittedly the last part is purely subjective. It does seem to be sturdy, but it’s highly unlikely I will ever know as at this point it will end up back in the box and sitting on a shelf collecting dust. Had it not been provided to me for review, I would return it for a refund.

Great Corsair product
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had multiple gaming keyboards over the past 15 years and I was super impressed with the Corsair red key K70. The actuation is smooth and quiet which is my preference. The Icue software is simple to navigate and works well with my CPU cooler, headset, mouse, and now keyboard.

Works Well Without Issue
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keyboard overall works very well and is exceptional in it’s quality. The keys can be sensitive, making it input multiple times. But that can be easily resolved with changes in the software. Other than that, the keyboard is very responsive and is satisfactory.

A Fine Keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid construction. Smooth and sensitive keystrokes. The volume control knob on the board itself comes in handy (it is programmable like the rest of the keyboard). I like it so much I'm buying a second one so my business and gaming computers have the same keyboarding feel.

User friendly and quiet!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keyboard is much better than expected! It’s been a long time since I’ve been in the market for a gaming keyboard and this one did not disappoint. The set up is incredibly easy and user friendly. It is quiet as I hoped it would be. Definitely giving this one 5 stars. I’ve been using this for 2 weeks. If anything changes in the near future I’ll be sure to update this review but as it stands, it’s 5 stars from me.

Keyboard of the Gods
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Might be a gaming keyboard but for someone with arthritis it's a miracle. So easy to use and the keys easily respond without a lot of force required. I love this thing.
