Don't regret a thing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.During the holiday rush this was a impulsive by of mine. This was on sale at a online retailer. Best Buy matched the price at check out (saving 40%) and the key board has been awesome ever since. Loud click of a mechanical keyboard and extreme response for gaming with the red LED back light under the keys, great for keeping the lights off to really enjoy a game. But more importantly its all about looks and this cherry red matches my build. The key board comes with alternate gaming keys to replace the stock ASDW. 1 - 6 numbers and Arrow Keys, but i found them to be a little awkward at first. and opted to just go with the stock keys. But nice to now i have a few extra if anything were to happen.

Totally worth the price..
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this keyboard for myself and ended up getting another on for my wife because she liked it so much. the switches are Cherry MX reds and I really like the feel of them. It has a USB pass thru and also really nice and easy to use media controls. It also comes with a key cap puller and extra WASD and 1-6 keys that are slightly dished and textured its a nice touch. The build quality is top notch its a stout keyboard there's not a lot of extra bits. But the lighting is cool and the brightness can be adjusted and there is an option to light only WASD or the hole board or just keys that you set. This keyboard is the one for me.

Nice mechanical keyboard.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chose this keyboard over the other mechanical keyboards because of the design. The keys are not recessed and so the keyboard is much easier to keep clean with a simple air duster. The keys feel great to the touch, and although the led lights aren't really my cup of tea, they do help greatly in the dark.

Corsair Gaming keeps getting better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a M65 mouse a few years back and fell in love with it. Finally took the plunge on the K70 keyboard as well. Keyboard does exactly what is needed - no ghosting all mechanical. The additional textured and curved red 1-6 and WASD keys make gaming seamless. Corsair Gaming definitely knows how to make a great product. You cannot go wrong with this keyboard.

Handles daily beating.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our company has a dozen data entry personnel that hammer the keyboard (& especially 10-key) for eight straight hours. They will destroy the average consumer (PC manufacturer supplied) keyboard in about a month. This K70, however, provides the right feedback and ruggedness to make it last, on average, 6 months for each of our stations. That might not sound long to you, but our use/abuse is WAY beyond your typical end-user scenario. This KB and the other mechanical KB's that Best Buy carry are worth the extra cost in the long run.

Love the Click!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It takes me back and reminds me of a typewriter. But otherwise it is great for gaming because it holds up to the punishment of repeated keying on a few select keys. We have been using it for a while now and are very happy with it. Especially like the red backlighting, which allows you to see the keys without really looking at them during low light conditions on screen.

See My Review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I bought this Corsair mechanical keyboard on sale, the price seemed "too good to be true". They have several models of keyboards, each with different components and features. The K70 (this one) has Cherry MX Red keyswitches, and the LED light therein only produces red illumination. The K95 (the other one) has Cherry MX Red RGB keyswitches. "Red" refers to the body color (and characteristics) of the switches. The RGB portion refers to it using Red-Green-Blue LED lights for illumination therein that can produce any color. After getting home with this, I soon learned this wasn't what I wanted, and took it back to Best Buy for exchange. In the process, I did learn the Cherry MX Red switches definitely were the ones I wanted. Cherry makes several types of keyswitches, each having its own unique set of characteristics. See their site for particular details. The K70 is a 104-key model with a 10-key numberpad on the right. The K95 has all that plus an 18-key pad on the left for setting and accessing micros. Both are fully programmable with respect to color patterns, and reassigning keys. If I had gotten RGB in the K70 series, it would have cost about $30 more, whereas for another $20 I got everything. I plan to use it forever, so the difference in price wasn't a critical issue. There was nothing wrong with the K70 per-se (list about $120). It just wasn't what I wanted, and was willing to pay for (K95 list about $190). Both are excellent keyboards. Elsewhere on the Best Buy site I wrote a review on the K95. I'd highly recommend either, but be sure which you ultimately want. They are not your typical $10 to $30 keyboard, which I was going through at the rate of about every couple of years, so upgrading was an easy choice.

Best pure mechanical keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is honestly the best, purest mechanical keyboard that I have ever used. And I cannot go to any other keyboard due to the form factors of other companies and the feel of the keys / switches themselves. The build quality of this thing is significantly higher than any other that I have personally used. And I cannot reccomend any other keyboard but this one. Although, I do recommend trying out keyboards and see which one you enjoy the most.

Excellent keyboard for gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used this keyboard for over 2 months now and I can honestly say that I don't think I will stop using it any time soon. Th cherry MX switches are super responsive and give you that clicky feedback that many gamers seek out in a mechanical keyboard. 10 out of 10 would smash again.

great keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from a standard non mechanical keyboard, this keyboard has been nothing short of a dream. Having done extensive research I fi ally narrowed my decision to this keyboard. The keys truly do make the difference whike gaming and also for overall productivity. Yes, they can be loud, however I find the clicks to be rather satisfying! Great keyboard!

Great Mechanical Keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is easy to use, and honestly one of the cheaper options to buy for a beginning mechanical keyboard. Sure it isn't feature rich and have macros and so on, but in most of those cases you'd want a gamepad, or an mmo mouse or the like regardless. It is plug and play, the software for it leaves much to be desired, but you don't truly need it either.

Awesome Keys
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never played with a cherry MX keyboard before and this had change the way I play my games. Its just so comfortable to play with. Also the added feature of pulling out the keys makes cleaning a breeze. I have also added the special WASD and 1 thorough 6 keys with the added textures. Overall very satisfied with this keyboard. Look forward for best buy to get the RGB version. On a side note there is also a USB port on the back of the keys where o have my mouse plugged in. I think that's awesome.

Buy this keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is fantastically well constructed keyboard, the aluminum body is very attractive and the floating style keys are a nice touch that helps set this piece apart from your standard fare. Honestly the only downside to the K70 is the new Corsair logo, but that's a small price to pay for one of the best mechanicals on the market.
