I love this board and its features. The key surfaces feel great, the build quality is amazing, and the customizable lighting and macros are tops! That being said...I wasn't ready for just how mushy and touch sensitive the Cherry MX Silver key switches were going to be. (Warning: Key Switch Rant) If you value typing at all, this definitely is not a comfortable experience. As for gaming, if you are not incredibly purposeful and careful with every single finger stroke, you are going to accidentally be pressing like 6 extra inputs. IE: I prefer having "c" bound as my crouch key in fps games and I still routinely activate the space bar and jump every time. And don't get me started on fat-fingering keys...or should I say "skinny"-fingering because I barely touch the wrong key half of the time. Maybe I still just have to get used to it, but still it feels like a gentle breeze could activate these keys. Bottom line, amazing keyboard and that I highly recommend. However, and I cannot say this enough, PLEASE research the key switches beforehand and confirm that they're the right weight, feedback, and activation distance for you.

I was hesitant initially about the low profile switches in the keyboard, but after using them for about a month, I can honestly say I enjoy them quite a bit. There is less travel in each key and it does take some getting used to, but once you do it is great for gaming, touch typing, and everyday work. I would recommend giving it a go if you can get it on a good sale.

Absolutely love this Corsair keyboard. I already have the more expensive version of this at home and purchased this one to use at my workplace. Everyone at work compliments it.

Great Keyboard, quiet keys, like the USB pass through port, wish it was USB3 pass through. RGB looks good. Low profile keys, having to adjust from full height keys... not sure which sytle I like better yet....

Excellent response time, awesome rgb. Sometimes it doesn't turn on with my pc, but I just restart it and it's fine. I see some complaints about it being hard to type with? I used a membrane keyboard for years and am heavy handed -- zero issues so far. Definitely would recommend, especially if on sale

I come from the Mac world having used keyboards with short throw keys that trigger with 1mm of downward pressure on by MacBook Pro and on my iMac. Having gotten used to that, the Corsair K70 Low Profile feels right at home. I picked up this keyboard for my new gaming rig based on the awesome aluminum build and RGB lighting. I debated whether to get the regular K70 or this one and I am happy that I picked the Low Profile with Rapidfire due to faster activation of keys with its shallow 1mm activation travel. I read some reviewers who say that it took them a while to acclimate while touch typing and I guess that would be the case if you are used to a more classic mechanical keyboard with more "throw". I find that I have less fatigue when I type and have many fewer typos vs the deeper travel K70 when I tried them out in store. And finally, I like that he keys have a very stable feel and very little lateral wobble. The keys are rather quiet when depressed. This really gives a sense of quality engineering. Great keyboard; comfortable, quiet, and satisfying

Great keyboard! Got it on sale so can't complain about the price. Wasn't sure about the rapid fire keys but didn't take long to get used to em. The keys are super sensitive too which I like.

I would personally say I bought this because I wanted to set up a permanent pc build as well as getting as really nice mouse. This keyboard is beauty and a great addition to my set up with the really nice lighting customization this adds great theme to your needs. This keyboard will last me a while.

We bought this for our grandson for Christmas. He loved it. Unfortunately a key fell off shortly after he started playing with it. They weren’t able to fix it but Best Buy replaced it very quickly. No more problems and the lights are able to be changed to different patterns so it’s fun.

Quiet keys, metal construction seems to avoid the attraction of cat fur. Not sure what the secondary cable is for, but assume for gaming. I go through a lot of keyboards, but I'm hopeful this one holds up longer. Also have had Logitech ones in the past. I highly recommend this keyboard.

Great keyboard and the low profile caps are seriously the best for gliding your fingers over the keyboard with efficiency. The keys are sensitive, so you need to be accurate, very high actuation point, so they're triggered immediately when pressed. The RGB is very clean as well.

Best keyboard I have bought. This is more silent than any keyboard I have had. I really like this keyboard and it's very comfortable to use. And my girlfriend is happy that I don't wake her up in the middle of night when I play games late night.

Great feel, cool customizable back lights. The USB port on the keyboard works excellent for my headset. The only thing is that it took a bit to get used to how touchy the keys are compared to my old keyboard but that’s what you want for a gaming keyboard. Would recommend 10/10 times.

if u been using membrane keyboard buy a low profile keyboard. Normal mechanical keyboard is hard to get use when ur switch from membrane to mechanical. icue is pain to use, make sure u save on hardware if u don't icue software open.

Great Keyboard keys a quite and easy to use software

I purchased this keyboard for my wife, she likes the low profile keys better than standard height. She has had it for a few months now and she loves how it feels and is happy she can change the color to match her computer.
