    I LOVE this keyboard!

I LOVE this keyboard. The low profile version is definitely the way to go, the keystrokes are short so they feel really responsive much like a high end laptop, and the cherry MX switches are just tactile enough to be nearly addicting to type. Quality and materials are to be expected from Corsair, the main body seems like brushed aluminum and really sets the whole look and feel. With the keys being recessed into the body, the RGBs reflect off the aluminum which helps intensify them. Last but not least, the iCue software is miles ahead of any other RGB control program I've yet to see. Most of my PC parts are Corsair simply because I prefer their software. Even if you're not big into Corsair in general, I would HIGHLY recommend their keyboards.

I wanted the quality and durability of a mechanical keyboard, but I hate the super loud clickity clackity of the typical mechanicals (also I game at night in the same room as my sleeping wife, and she loves how quiet it is). This keyboard checks all the boxes: - the RGB looks sexy AF - high quality, durable feel aluminum metal chassis - soft, perfectly responsive quiet keys - dope media controls that actually work (I don't have to alt-tab a full screen game to pause/switch youtube music!) - the wrist rest is actually quite nice and I'm not going to replace it - has a Windows key lock (great for avoiding accidental alt-tabs) - the list goes on I just built an absolute monster of a new desktop and this keyboard is the thing that excites me the most. It's just perfect. Buy it.

Solidly built and looks great. Just having to get used to different touch of the keys from my old keyboard which was a longer, heavier stroke. The leds are fun and look great, now i can game with light off as i can see the keys now. Sound isnt louder than my old keyboard either but its not silent. Will take some time and effort to learn how the iCue software works to try different lighting effects but thats just time and effort. Very happy with the board so far and look forward to owning it a very long time. Got it on sale and loved the price compared to non-sale price. The price and features sold it and I have some other Corsair products so the brand was trusted as well.

I've moved into the mechanical keyboard era! I wanted a mechanical keyboard with RGB lighting for gaming and for looks. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for one though. I settled on this one after reading the reviews and found it on sale for $90 at BB. I really like this keyboard. The RGB options are endless! The software is quite easy to use. It's fun designing different lighting effects. The volume wheel is a must IMO. This one is fantastic! The aluminum frame is sleek, modern and very attractive. I was a little hesitant on the low profile....but it isn't even an issue. I already love it! Keys are a bit louder than I had expected them to be but this is my first mechanical keyboard. The speed switches are quite sensitive. Many times I feel like I'm just hovering my finger over a letter but I must just touch it lightly and a letter registers. I find I'm having to check my spelling quite frequently for this reason. That is however, my only con. Maybe it will just take some getting used to. I've only had it for a week.

Right out the box anybody would be able to tell just how well built this keyboard is, so it immediately makes a good impression. The colors are very bright for anyone who likes RGB. It's got a second USB cord to connect to the motherboard to power an actual USB port on the back of the keyboard itself, which is a very convenient yet overlooked feature of it. The volume scroll wheel is also very convenient. The Cherry MX keys are extremely responsive and relatively easy to get used to using. Overall, this is a top tier keyboard and I'm very pleased with the product.

This keyboard is really good for anyone who wants linear switches in a low profile switches. The wrist rest is a nice touch, but a bit uncomfortable. It's a soft-touch plastic piece, but a bit cheap feeling. It can replace a good soft and squish pad. Biggest issue is that is a hassle to attach and replace since it clips on the bottom. The switches are smooth, but feel like hallow pieces of plastic grinding up on each other. The materials are of high quality plastic and metal and the RGB lighting is excellent. The letters are pretty big and let a lot of light shine though. The media keys are really good, but I wish the volume knob was tactile and had defined steps. I found the keys to be a bit too sensitive. They will register keystrokes if you even just lightly brush the keys. This is a great keyboard for the right person, just not for me.

This is a great gaming keyboard with top-notch build quality and aesthetics. The keyboard feels great to use and the low profile keys are much better than I expected compared to my previous normal- height keycapped keyboard. The RGB look and floating keycap looks great in my opinion. The Cherry MX Speed keycaps are relatively quiet compared to the MX reds and Romer-G keycaps from my previous keyboards but retain the smooth linear feel. They do have quick activation for accurate movement, especially in quick action games like 1st person shooters and competitive online games like League of Legends.

Amazing keyboard. I used to have the razor ultimate. This keyboard is quieter, more comfortable thanks to the palm rest, even though it is hard plastic, it helps. I have smaller hands so with this being more low profile and the palm rest, it feels very comfortable. Absolutely recommend buying this keyboard. The iCUE program to download to control the colors is easy, just follow the directions in the booklet it comes with. You have have multiply choices for the colors.

It's a mechanical cheery mix that is quiet instead of loud ! ! ! Which is totally amazing to get the quality of a click-y keyboard with out the sound :) ! ! ! LED's look amazing Syncs with iCue with ease. The wrist attachment it comes with seems very cheap but fits good and feels good, so i guess it does it's job. It has a USB port but you have to have 2 free USB orbs on your PC in order to use which for some could lead to some issues. I just feel for the price point the wrist pad could have been better! No knocking a star for this because it's just me. I have only own this for 1 month will update if i don't forget in 6m-1y

I have used this keyboard at work and at home. Coming from a full height mechanical keyboard it will take some time adjusting to the feel of the height of the keys, it does not quite feel the same as typing on a membrane keyboard but once you get used to typing on it is a very seamless experience. One of the main reasons I invested in a keyboard like this would be the elimination of the need for a wrist rest in small desk spaces like what I currently have at work. With this keyboard compared to the old mechanical keyboard I used to use I can type comfortably at the same speed if not faster without any need for a wrist rest even though this product comes with one. The keycaps on this keyboard allow for the fitting of rubber dampeners. So if you buy rubber dampeners from WASD keyboard or Captain O-ring like I did, it will fit an you will be able to make this keyboard have an even shorter travel distance and be even quieter than it originally was, so if you are really paranoid about the noise footprint you are making then you can add that upgrade no problem. The function keys and some other keys like the spacebar key will require 2 O-rings for the O-rings to actually do anything due to the height of some of the keycaps being taller than others meaning the key will bottom out before the O-ring can do anything. The switches contained in this keyboard, the Cherry MX Speed low-profile switches. They do actuate really fast. Usually you just begin to push the keys down it will actuate. So people who are skilled a typing fast without bottoming out the keys will love these switches. However whenever you are bottoming out the keys because it's just a habit (like mine) while playing a game like Modern Warfare that requires you to hold down a key to do something like move, then you might feel some noticeable force that may make you finger feel tired over time. Or my fingers are just really weak. Could just be because I have small hands, but my left hand has to really make a stretch to do a key combo like Ctrl+W to close a tab or Ctrl+E for something else. I have gotten use to it but if you know you have smaller than average hands then you might have difficulty using multi-key keybinds with this keyboard. Now overall this is yes a pretty darn expensive keyboard. You can buy 2 of some other brands keyboard for the price of this one. Is it worth it? I would say if you: - Really want a mechanical keyboard that you don't need a wrist rest to use comfortably to use to it's full potential - You want the MX Low profile Speed switches that actuate in very little travel distance (claimed to be 1mm) - You like the look of a slimmer mechanical keyboard - You just really like the Corsair brand Then I think that this keyboard is right for you. If you are really set in the ways of the original high-keycap mechanical keyboard then you might want to just pass on this purchase.

I love this Corsair k70 low profile keyboard. I love the lights in this keyboard. There's so many different variations that you can use. It really adds to the experience if there's low light or at night time. And I use this for playing digital pinball games. I bet you didn't know that was a thing. I remember playing that back in the 70s and I loved playing pinball with my friends at the store. So I found a website that you can purchase these games. And you use the shift keys for your flippers and the control keys will nudge it. Well trust me I pound on these keys and it can take a beating. You don't have to do that in order to play these games but when I'm in the zone I accidentally do it all the time. Doesn't make the ball go any faster but of course when I'm in the zone I forget this isn't an actual pinball machine and I pound on the keys sometimes. That's why I know this keyboard can take a beating and still holds up with no problem. I have never cracked one of the keys on this. Now the old model they had a few years ago those keys cracked all the time. Not this one. They have redesigned this and this thing is sweet. And it has a control for the volume on this silver wheel at the top. And you can lock the keys with this button at the top that has a picture of a padlock so that while you're playing a game you don't accidentally hit the Windows key or something and screw up your game. I think this thing is definitely overpriced but at least you know you're going to be getting a really good keyboard that should last for a long time. It even has a USB on it for hooking something up to it like your mouse or a webcam?

Awesome keyboard. The RGB is fantastic. Key feel is great and definitely responsive. Coming from a laptop, it was a similar feel. My only suggestion which is a personal preference, is using a riser underneath to give the keyboard some angle. Sometimes when playing FPS games, I hit multiple keys at the same time. However, I also have bear claws for hands, so may be a personal problem.

I have the Corsair K70 MK.2 SE keyboard as well and I think I prefer this. The keys are clicky feeling without being obnoxiously loud, everything registers perfectly, the LED's are bright, vibrant and pop off the black metal frame. Feels like a keyboard that will last (especially seeing as I dont use it THAT much). I cant comment on how it performs gaming wise as im honeslty a controller guy, but it is a great practical feeling experience. Also love the slim keys. Little pricey but considering bulk of it is metal frame, and its corsair, I know quality is top notch.

I love gaming keyboards but most are way to loud for a professional environment. This Corsair mk2 k70 is perfect for a professional environment. It’s one of the quietest mechanical keyboards I’ve ever heard. Feels great to type on as well. The wrist rest is a great touch and those dedicated media keys are a great touch. Corsairs led functionality is great as always and the slightly raised switches make the led really pop. It is definitely low profile but still a mechanical keyboard so don’t expect something like the apple keyboards. Has a usb pass through as well which is nice for hooking up a mouse.

I bought this to replace my old K70 that I spilled water on one too many times. I love the small footprint even with a ten key pad. There are several improvements over the old one. The lighting is better and iCue works with it. The old one had Cherry MX brown keys and was a bit clicky. This one has the Cherry MX speed switches. The keys are very quiet and need a very light touch. I am sure it will be a big asset when I get familiar with the different feel. I also like the bigger letters on the keys.

I'm hooked on Corsair products and this one didn't disappoint. The quality is amazing. The ability to customize the lighting is fun but you will not care after a while. It is my first mechanical keyboard and once you get used to the differences you will love it. It does take some time. I've been used to laptop keyboards which are much smaller so this took extra time to get used to. The iCue software used for customizing is bloated and not easy for the normal person to use.
