Great gaming keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a replacement for my k70 mk1 (soda spill). The keys are fantastic, anti-ghosting is great(haven't noticed issues while gaming for hours), and the RGB is great and programable. The media keys are great, volume wheel is good. And the extra usb port is great for a mouse.

Very Nice Keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard is very fast, it requires minimal pressure to actuate the keys. It is nearly silent. There is software to adjust the colors and the pattern of the color movement through the keys. I like the onboard volume control and light intensity control. The quality seems to be high. The keys are solid, no movement or rattles. Construction and weight are good. There is a removable wrist rest, and two feet to elevate the keyboard.

Great keyboard, disappointing quality control
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Out of the box, there was a chip in the metal on the bottom of the keyboard right below the space bar. I tried to fix it with a sharpie but it’s still rough and noticeable if the light catches the unfinished bare metal. The braided cable is very frayed and unclean right at the connection point to the keyboard. This was how it came day one right out of the package. Overall the keyboard is amazing I’m just disappointed with the one I got. A few of my friends got the same one and theirs are perfect. They type well, the keys feel incredible, and it’s got a good weight to it. It doesn’t move around on the desk at all which is nice. The only other problem was the wrist rest. It’s not great. It’s very cheap feeling hard plastic and somehow has even less give than the regular k70 mk.2 without low profile switches. I’m not sure if they manufacture different ones and maybe it’s because it is a lower set of keys but it is definitely a thinner and harder wrist rest. I got a gel wrist rest instead of the cheap plastic one it comes with and it feels amazing. I can play for hours with no pain in my wrist. Although I do want my things to look nice, it has gotten a little less noticeable over the brief time I’ve used it. I would rather have a clean even braid on my cord and no chips in the beautiful brushed metal finish. This in no way has impacted performance. The keyboard types well and played games incredibly, it’s just personally upsetting that the visual component and build quality isn’t 100 percent there with the performance. Overall I would recommend this keyboard. I hope your luck is better than mine.

Fast, sturdy
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very fast, sturdy keyboard. I am using to replace a keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches, and was concerned about the feel as well as how sturdy the keys were (I have used keyboards with floppy keys or keys that come off). So far, the feel is very good, I have had no problems adapting from the MX Brown switches, and everything has a very solid feel.

Love typing on this
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.VS the "RGB 2" K70 this one is about half an inch thinner with 1 mm travel vs 1.2mm if I recall correctly. I love typing on this and although i bought it for gaming I'm now using it for work--so buying another one for gaming as well (I already have two so about to buy third). The low travel works amazingly for a wicked-fast typing speed. The extra keys it comes with are great--I removed one of the ones I hit with my thumb and replaced with a higher-rising one so now I can hit it easier. The second USB is only a pass-through. This absolutely DOES NOT need two USBs to work. I haver one unplugged this very minute and it's working great. The iCue software is pretty tricky to figure out I found. The lighting vs hardware profiles took me a minute to get my head around and I found them a bit confusing (lighting profile works when icue is running but if you don't have it running you use the hardware profile, of which three can be saved to the keyboard). That's why I'm dinging on ease of use. There is a soft pinging sound on one of the two of these I have but only noticeable in a very quiet room with no ambient noise. BTW this works on an xbox series S perfectly and you can use the "lock" key to cut out the windows key. On a PS5 it also works great but you need to switch the keyboard to BIOS Mode (no big deal).

Great keyboard, but MX Speed is too sensitive
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The build quality was really good. The keys felt really nice. The low profile was great. I really wanted to like the keyboard, however, the Cherry MX Speed was too sensitive for me.

Superior Keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best for gaming experience, really low latency, quick register, etc. I was using blue switch which is too loud, this is the quitest keyboard that I have. On the other hand, if you do not use the keyboard too much or in other words practice less, you make errors when you type. Overall that is a superior keyboard.

Exquisite keyboard in every way
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not a gamer. I'm a touch typist and I do appreciate the quality of a well-made mechanical switch keyboard because I love to type. I've been working on my laptop so much lately that my touch-typing gradually adjusted more to the low-profile of a laptop keyboard. When I needed to work on my desktop computer even with a top quality, high-profile keyboard I found I was having a lot more typos from my fingers over-reaching to the row above. I recalled seeing this low-profile Corsair mechanical keyboard and I started doing my research. It was the solution I was looking for. Even though the depth of the keystroke is more than on my laptop, it is a close enough match to make shifting between keyboards effortless and trouble-free. The quality of construction is solid and very nicely laid out. The keys are backlit in RGB that, right out of the box, gradually shifts across the keyboard through the spectrum of colors. I did not feel the need to download the Corsair software to change any of these lighting settings because this lovely display of colors slowly moving across my keyboard is pleasant and non-distracting. There are keys above the function row to allow me to adjust the brightness setting of the back lighting or to turn it off altogether. There are also media keys in the upper right corner and a volume roll bar for even more convenience. Typing on this keyboard is an extremely pleasant experience. The keys are relatively quiet and smooth with just enough resistance to prevent accidental characters from being activated by lightly resting a finger on the key. I can easily achieve well over 100 words per minute on this keyboard. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quality mechanical switch keyboard. It's even better when you can buy it on sale.

Like the K70 MK.2 but more for gaming than typing.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own the original K70 MK.2 with Cherry MX Blue switches for typing, and it is by far the best keyboard I have ever owned for that purpose. However, I wanted something a little more speed-oriented to use for gaming. When I saw that they make a low-profile version of the K70 MK.2 featuring Cherry MX Speed LP switches as well as special LP keycaps, it was an easy decision to make. This keyboard is built for gaming. You can breathe on the keys and they'll register an input. The actuation point is less than halfway through their overall travel. The low profile design allows for the included textured WASD keys to protrude more and be easier to find without looking during play. Beware that this keyboard is AWFUL for typing, however that is not its intended purpose. If you are planning on using this keyboard for writing, please opt for the standard version with either Blue or Brown switches. This keyboard is best suited for a use case where you already have a typing-oriented keyboard and want one that is solely for gaming usage.

A great gaming keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The two best aspects of this keyboard are the excellent Cherry switches and the amazing lighting. The tactical feeling of the keys is amazing. They have a light feel to the key press that I find much better than the clicky, hard tactical response from my old keyboard. The lighting can be configures many ways and is great to see the keys in the dark. Plus is looks cool. I've had this keyboard for about 6 months and it was worth every penny.

Double Take
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I started out buying this keyboard as a gift, a day later I returned to buy another for myself. The RBG and iCue software is awesome, many color profiles to choose from and the response from the keys itself you can’t beat. It’s worth every cent.

A Real Treat
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My 10 year old keyboard was tired. I saw this and thought hmmm that looks fancy, fun, and it was on sale. The quality is nice. I spend 90% of my time typing and working on my computer, and 10% gaming, so I am not this products intended audience. The ability to change colors and adjust lighting is really nice. The keys are comfortable, and the response is solid. It works both in PC and Mac, which was a must for me.

It’s Good, but didn’t surpass my expectations.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Exceptional build quality as well as quiet switches that are solid and feel like they’d last forever. The wrist rest that is included with this keyboard is a little bit lackluster considering the 150$ price point but it’s not doesn’t ruin the entire keyboard. Overall, I’d recommend this keyboard when it’s on sale, as the there are some better contenders at the 150$ price point.

Have a better keyboard than your neighbor
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard is the best thing since sliced bread. I wonder what happened before sliced bread? Did the bread just get mushy? Anyhow onto my review. This keyboard is great. I like all of the different color customizations as well as the clickity clack sound. You can turn your speakers volume up and down from the keyboard as well.

Awesome
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't realize how great mechanical keys were until I got this. The K70 Low Profile is perfect for my needs. There is a volume wheel and mute button that I use all the time. The RGB is easily controlled with the Corsair software. The case of the keyboard is aluminum with some heft to it. Along with the rubber feet, this keyboard does not move around unintended at all. Highly recommended.
