good high quality metal frame keyboard. research what cherry keys are before getting this though. old keyboards, you would press the button firmly, and a letter pops on your screen, with this one, if I lightly brush my hand over a key, it registers. In halo, I'm always crouching because my hand is always resting lightly on the ctrl button. I think thats just how cherry-keys work, so some people might be ok with it. also a note: the edges are metal, and sharper, and the texture of the frame is one which can be used to file your fingernails. the LED function in software is excellent. each key can have a different color than the next, but brightness is universal, in three modes. BUT, you can use a bright red color on a key, and add black, do make it dimmer, while the ones around it are still bright. There is color bleeding, a bright color, next to another bright color, will bleed into each others key colors. also, look at the keyboard from the front angle, the LED's are bright from the edges. I like the keyboard, and would get one identical, without the cherry aspect, but I got used to it for now.

I've been using this keyboard for well over a year and could not resist purchasing another for an alternate system build. First of all the build quality is superb. The recessed and key placement allow for both easy cleaning and comfort while typing. The brushed metal is simply an extra touch. Key actuation is what you'd expect with Cherry based keys. For anyone that hasn't yet tried out Cherry keys, it is well worth the investment if you're looking to make a leap in quality versus the majority of membrane-based keyboards out there today. The keyboard does come with a key puller utility which enables you to do a few things. You can use it to replace your WASD keys for example with the tactile surface WASD keys that are included. Naturally too it helps to accommodate the cleaning process if you have a spill or simply want a deep clean. The iCUE software works just fine. There are a multitude of variations you can use for the color patterns. I don't usually look at my keyboard very often so it's somewhat wasted on me but the effect is certainly eye catching from abroad or to anyone who is near you. Overall if you're just looking for a keyboard to use for general purposes I don't recommend this one. If you happen to spend hours at your computer however be it for work and/or a combination of gaming I would take the leap on it. The pricing is somewhat off putting but do note that it's on sale at least a few times every year thus far.

This is a high quality keyboard, with nice responsive keys, beautiful lighting, and excellent for gaming. The keyboard is plastic underneath, and I believe brushed aluminum for the base, under the keys. If you are coming from a standard height, full size keyboard, be aware that why your typing may improve, your accuracy may take a slight dive from your old keyboard.

This keyboard is great, the speed and response of the keys are everything. The lights are so attractive they just give my gaming room the right amount of pazazz it needs. I had to send my original keyboard back because one of my keys had gotten stuck but the response time and replacement being sent out was fairly quickly. I feel good about this purchase.

To start, this thing has excellent build quality. The aluminum body really makes it sturdy. The “mappable” keys make it great to customize for gaming as well as the fully programmable RGB lighting. I got the matching mouse as well and I’m in love with them both. You can’t go wrong!

Would not have considered buying this but was on sale for about $89.00. Has a threaded cable about as thick as a pencil, not just a little wire to connect to your computer. Lights up which is neat if u r in a low light situation. Good quality would defiantly recommend if u want something better than just your average keyboard. Comes with 8 replacement keys for gamers.

I love this keyboard, Everything to the click clack of the keys to the MS response when it comes to gaming and Ive been using it for almost a year now and it is worth it. It has a wrist attachment and adjustable tilt on the back of the keyboard. Different light settings and etc. Also if you spill any liquid on the keyboard, dont worry (Ive done this probably 3+ times now) All of the keys are still functioning and going strong. Really nice with rhythm games as well, 10/10 solid keyboard, but if you plan on buying a keyboard, try going in person and testing out different brands to see what fits you the best.

Pros: -Comes with icue customizable RGB -Switches are some of the fastest and smoothest you can get -Bery good quality and wrist-rest -Comes with media keys Cons: -Not great for typing due to it being low profile and having extremely responsive switches -Stablizers for spacebar, enter, etc are made of very poor quality and feel very grindy instead of feeling smooth. To fix this you would have to take them out, heavily lubricate them yourself, and then put them back in Overall very solid keyboard though, and is great for gaming - also looks very nice

Gamers, rise up for this sexy RGB experience that's one for the record books. It's a good keyboard which was a good price on sale during Black Friday. If you just want a keyboard, get a cheaper one, but if you want the true gamer experience with colors that add almost nothing to the quality of the product except ooh pretty lights then yeah get this.

The RAPIDEFIRE switches make the keyboard very fast but the actuation point is short and makes it very sensitive. If you rest your fingers on the keyboard while typing, you might register a key. The LOW PROFILE aspect makes it feel more like a laptop keyboard. Typing is rather quiet and fast and satisfying. Original price is high but on sale for under 100$ is a good price for this keyboard.

The rapid fire keys are amazing cutting half the time to engage the key, giving you a faster reaction time for high fps shooter type games. Has a large range of customizable options on the rgb. Also comes with some textured keys like you're W, A, S, D keys. I have the version one. I bought this one for a friend but is the same I've had my keyboard for 2 1/2 years now. You can always count t on corsair!

I really love this keyboard, I've been using it for almost a year. The Icue software is easy to use to change how you want to setup the RGB lighting. This is a low profile keyboard and I enjoy the feel, if you are looking at this I suggest finding a demo unit and typing on it as there is a different feel to the low profile and for mechanical.

This keyboard (and maybe other Corsair models?) has a specific incompatibility with certain systems. In my case, my HP Omen 870 desktop. Strangest thing I've ever seen, but my Omen would not POST with this keyboard attached. It's a known issue with certain motherboards. This was very unfortunate, because I had all but fallen in love with the keyboard. I attached it while my PC was running and used it for a couple days and was delighted. Then, I had to reboot due to some Windows updates and the system would not POST. At first I thought it was just a bad update, but no - I narrowed it down to the keyboard. After some Google searching, I found others with the same issue. I was very sad to return it. Ended up with a different brand that I have grown to like also, but the feel of the Corsair was absolutely phenomenal. YMMV

    Awesome Low Profile Keyboard

Pros: - Low Profile...you don't have much option for this in May 2021 - Very low travel distance - Silent typing... My main point. It feels so good typing especially at night when your wife and kids are sleeping next to you - Awesome customization and great lighting effects - Dedicated media buttons with full customization - Dedicated profile change, lighting, and windows lock buttons Cons: - Typing needs some adjustment especially if you are not familiar with mx-speed + low profile - Arm rest could have been magnetic instead of the flimsy clip-on - Arm rest could have been slightly more padded - I wish Windows lock button could be customized to lock more than just a few options they give - I wish the USB can be 3.0....it is 2021 and we still get 2.0???? - I wish the USB can be lighted up or has an indication so I know where to plug my usb in - The cable is so stiff and it takes over 2 usb ports....it is 2021, corsair can do better with the usb3.0 cable with less stiffness Overall: - If you can get this for $120 or less and you are not having enough time or energy to mod your keyboard, this is a steal even in 2021

I replaced a wireless Microsoft keyboard with this one. It’s build quality is top notch with its aluminum chassis. The keys all feel great and the lighting effects are really cool. I primarily use this for regular desktop applications and work and it’s works great. The key spacing is a little different than the Microsoft board so it took a few days to get used to but all is well now. My son has used it for gaming and loves it . If you are looking for a keyboard that does it all well I would say this checks the boxes.

Wonderful keyboard. Mortal Kombat is a pleasure to play. The response to key presses is the highest, playing Counter-Strike and Quake has become more convenient, delays have noticeably decreased in comparison with the Razer Ornata Chroma. However, I had to get used to typing quickly, since stroking the finger no longer works - pressing occurs and the fingers have to be completely torn off when moving. The backlight works beautifully and has uniform illumination throughout the entire canvas.

Fantastic keyboard - easy to type quickly on, and I was very pleased to see that it's actually just about as quiet as my non-mechanical keyboard. Additionally, I really like the Corsair iCue app to be able to configure the lighting profiles and potential macros and it allows for per device profiles. Also works great with my KVM.

It’s really amazing to feel the cherry mx- it’s quite but precise with each stroke. You can program insane stuff like “press + on number pad to insta-type your username and password” and can do that x3 profiles. I control my fan color, speed, rob lighting, mouse buttons, and so much. It’s beautiful, satisfying, and in terms of gaming is the best of three mechanicals I’ve had. Get it!

I have really enjoyed this keyboard. I really like the customization for the RGB lights. Its easy to setup and use. Design is beautiful and the key board is light but feels very sturdy. Comes with a long usb chord and i really enjoy the extra usb on the key board itself. I would definitely recommend this keyboard to anyone.

The keyboard itself is easily the best I've uses ever, and I've been strictly PC gaming for the past 8 years. Actuation force is abysmal, so your pressure doesn't have to exist to get your input across. Which, admittedly can be annoying, but not bad in the end. Just something to get used to compared to mechanical keyboards and all that. The only problem with what comes in the box is the wrist rest. It's a piece of rubberized plastic. It's not really a rest, and more of an extension to the end of the keyboard so your hand isn't on a solid piece of metal as that's what the keyboard's made out of. iCUE (the program required to customize your RGB and more) is great, except the part where it will randomly decide your keyboard is no longer detected on Windows startup. And also the part where it's interface is designed in a way to confuse you by default. There are a billion things you can customize with the program, including exactly custom patters right down to each key being the exact color you want, but it is also limited in many fronts. In the end, if you're like me and got this on sale it's a no-brainer and a great use of your money compared to some other expensive keyboards out there.
