I recently purchased the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 LOW PROFILE RAPIDFIRE gaming keyboard. I really like the low profile keys, which make it easier to type. The keys are also very responsive, which makes it great for gaming. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

GREAT keyboard, but iCUE can be confusing.

The keyboard itself is easily the best I've uses ever, and I've been strictly PC gaming for the past 8 years. Actuation force is abysmal, so your pressure doesn't have to exist to get your input across. Which, admittedly can be annoying, but not bad in the end. Just something to get used to compared to mechanical keyboards and all that. The only problem with what comes in the box is the wrist rest. It's a piece of rubberized plastic. It's not really a rest, and more of an extension to the end of the keyboard so your hand isn't on a solid piece of metal as that's what the keyboard's made out of. iCUE (the program required to customize your RGB and more) is great, except the part where it will randomly decide your keyboard is no longer detected on Windows startup. And also the part where it's interface is designed in a way to confuse you by default. There are a billion things you can customize with the program, including exactly custom patters right down to each key being the exact color you want, but it is also limited in many fronts. In the end, if you're like me and got this on sale it's a no-brainer and a great use of your money compared to some other expensive keyboards out there.

Best I've ever had. Feels well built and clean design. Keys are very sensitive, barely touch them and they respond. Had for a few months now and must say I highly recommend this keyboard. RGB is almost limitless with iQue. Wait for a good sale and then don't hesitate.

Gaming keyboards can demand a significant price premium - but this keyboard's quality aluminum construction, vibrant RGB lighting, and quiet mechanical switches help justify the price. A solid keyboard to consider if you are a gamer, or just want a very cool-looking keyboard. Metal volume roller knob is an awesome feature.

I think if you've never dipped your toes into getting a true mechanical keyboard, this is where you should start. This is where you stop using the keyboard that came with your pre built PC and step into the true feeling of typing. Once you go mechanical you won't go back. This keyboard is sturdy, well build and should last many years. The RGB looks good but easily turned off. Its not the best out there, but it's pretty good. Starting here might even make you a true keyboard enthusiast. Recommended.

Got this on sale from Best Buy which had the best price around. It is a solid keyboard for anyone looking for a mechanical keyboard without the full clickedly clack of a traditional mech keyboard. The low profile is also a big plus as it's is more stream lined. Would recommend to anyone.

I was in the search for my first mechanical keyboard and decided to give this one a try since I heard really good things about Corsair keyboards. I love it so far! It's great for me since I stream so it's not super loud, the keys feel really fast and smooth, I even feel like it improved my gameplay!

Nice build, this was my first mechanical keyboard so I can't review that too much, I got it for 100$ on sale, which I think is a decent value. The lighting is a little finicky with iCUE, I wasn't able to store the profiles on the hardware properly while trying to switch between my PC and work laptop, but it works fine with not storing any profiles, and just using the default ones on my work laptop and using iCUE/Mystic light on my PC

Snag this on sale for a great mechanical board. The iCue lighting software is miles better than Razer's Synapse program, and the buttons are tactile but not obnoxious sounding. The volume bar is great and hefty feeling as well. Nothing here feels cheap. Be warned that this mk.2 of the K70 is NOT compatible with the dimensions of the Corsair Lap Dog lap board, despite advertising that any K70 is compatible. Must have been before the mk.2 released.

Keyboard is nice, solid and has s good feel, but if you are paying to get a RGB keyboard there is a lot to be desired. The software is not intuitive (fortunately a lot of 3rd party YouTube videos), and when you finally have something setup you like it does not download to the keyboard. This means the keyboard keeps going back to the built in default when not connected to the software. To add insult to injury the software keeps loosing the keyboard, the keyboard works and the software detects, but it shows a red warning sign (without explanation of what that means). To get the software to see the keyboard again (and deploy your custom lighting) you need to unplug and replug the keyboard back in (then it finds it and downloads the lighting setup). This seems to not only happen when you shut down your PC, but even when it times out into the lock screen. If your PC is under a desk, having to continually climb under your desk to unplug and replug the keyboard back in takes a lot of the joy out of owning it.

Switches are great. There is a little bit of noise dampening rings on the keys so it’s not too clicky sounding every time you press a key. The Keysville well spaced out. Might be a little bit different than your previous mechanical gaming keyboard however if you’re used to typing on a laptop all day it’s like second nature.

A very solid gaming keyboard. The lights are cool but don't really do much. This keyboard is enjoyed immensely by my 13-year-old gamer - who has popped off all the keys and set them up differently. She likes the feel of the keys.

Upgraded from a HyperX keyboard, love the switches and ease of use. You can use some lighting effects without iCue downloaded as well, but you are limited. It can be a little bit of an issue to clean the keyboard because of how closely packed the keys are, but overall 5/5.

I really want to love this keyboard but the typing experience keeps it from being truly great. The build quality is absolutely fantastic. Way better than the Logitech G910 that it is replacing. I love the aluminum chassis and the quality of the various media keys. I needed to buy a same-day keyboard and this version, with the Cherry MX Speed Switch keys was the only one available. They are good keys if you like super-sensitive linear keys. I do not. It feels like working on a good laptop...not a premium-priced component keyboard. I could live with it if it wasn't for the overly-tight spacing of the keys. I personally find it nearly impossible to type without a ridiculous number of typos. If you are an ultra clean typist, then you will probably enjoy the experience on this. If you are like me, someone with large-ish hands, who tends to slide across the keys a bit, you will be driven crazy. ANY little touch triggers key input. Still debating on whether or not to return it. An unexpected bonus to this keyboard is the ICUE performance monitoring software. It is fantastic. It monitors everything I want. Fan-speeds, all the various temps and frequencies. etc. in a very user-friendly package that can work on any monitor (unlike many who only work on the primary monitor). I love keeping it on my side monitor during work or gaming. If only it were better for actually typing...
