Nice keyboard but software is kind of a pain to use

I wanted a keyboard with better backlighting than my current keyboard. This keyboard certainly has great backlighting. But, the mechanical keys were so different from my current key style I couldn't get use to it. So, I returned it. Best Buy is excellent in taking back things you get but find out you don't like.

What can I say I love everything about this keyboard best buy.

I have owned a few of these now for the past 8 years, and as always its just great! I broke the others as i spilled drinks on them or just straight up wore them out. So another replacement again, these are used for 10-12hrs a day w/ work and gaming. I like the raised keys because it makes cleaning a breeze!

I really love this keyboard I was just upset at the fact that I couldn’t get a warranty on it but other than that just take good care of it lol

This keyboard is fabulous! The color tone options alone are stunning. When playing certain games it lights up to its own pattern for low health or love scenes. It has the programmable keys along the side for faster buffs as my boyfriend says. It's so quiet and so responsive. We are very happy with this purchase

It has all the features you could ask for and the speed switches that I picked work just as advertised. It’s very responsive and works for typing. The raised keys and aluminum backplate also make it very easy to clean. The iCUE software is also very user friendly and macros are easy to make.

Having used so many keyboards since the late 80s this product is by far the best keyboard I have purchased. The keys are responsive and being a PC gamer there are extra covers for the most common key letters you can put on that are different colored and better textured.

Solid construction. Be prepared to compensate for the extra keys on the side, but they do come in handy! The brushed metal face is beautiful and feels awesome. I dont use the palm rest because of how I sit, but it feelt sturdy when I gave it a shot. Good cushioning.

I purchased this for my boys for Christmas when it was on sale and they love it! I had previous purchased the k70 is low profile but when I saw this one go on sale I went and switch it for the k95 it has the palm rest. I have 4 teen boys so for $20 I purchased the extended 2 year warranty.

I love how it lights up. I like the heavy duty metal frame.

Nobody is going to deny that this a gorgeous well-built keyboard, however it’s not perfect and I can’t give it 5 stars for a number of reasons. The first reason is either the build quality or quality control isn’t perfect. For example, my entertainment scroll wheel for volume is either mounted slight off center to the cylinder, or it’s not a cylinder and it’s more oval shaped. This causes my scroll wheel to catch the edge of where it’s mounted occasionally if I’m pressing on it too hard. You can also visibly see that wheel moves slightly up and down while moving. That’s quite nitpicky but it’s annoying and shouldn’t be expected when paying this kind of money for a keyboard. The other small complaint I have is with the lighting. It’s bright and looks great but there’s only one light for each key. So for the larger keys or the keys with shift functions they’re dull the farther away from the light you get. The shift functions are only lit at the top and the keys like “CAPS LOCK” the “LOCK” isn’t completely lit. For these reasons I can’t give this keyboard 5 stars. I would still recommend it but may end up returning mind simply for my build quality issues.

Occasionally my absolute sausage fingers hit an extra key but it's helped my wpm, and it's far nicer for gaming and any all around use in my opinion. I recommend finding a good solid spot for it cause it has some weight and it uses two usb ports so keep that in mind as well.

I love the keys and how fast they register when I hardly touch them. It's a great gaming keyboard and love the RGB back lighting. Do I think it's worth $200? No I don't I got it for around $40 because of a sale and gift cards I had sitting around to use. It took a little while to get use to the keys but when you do you will love it.

Once you have a mechanical keyboard you’ll never wanna use anything else. Looks and feels great.

The keys feel great. The software is easy to use. Corsair’s iCue software automatically detects the keyboard, and allows for you to customize separate profiles for each user. You can also download 3rd party profiles from other websites for the specific game you are playing.

fantastic feel and color control (through iCUE). nice and heavy, too, so it's not sliding around the desk. loud enough that people can really hear you typing if you're on a call and not on mute.

The keyboard feels very nice and the Cherry MX speed switches are very silent as well. However, the bottom row of keys have non-standardized keycaps which could add extra cost to anyone willing to replace them. It is very sturdy and works well.
