Very nice keyboard. I have noticed that after some use the keys become very touchy when playing with the A S D W keys.

Unfortunately I damaged my Logitech G910 keyboard and needed an immediate replacement. Orange Best buy had this guy on sale and in stock, plus between Corsair and genuine Cherry switch's I figured I wasn't taking too much of a gamble. Long story short while I WANTED to like the K95 I ended up returning it. First the pro's: its very well made with the notable exception of the plastic textured keys and the switch-feel is great (I had the "speed" version) I can understand why folks are so fond of Cherry. Now the cons: The biggest problem for me was that this keyboard made a "ringing" sound during fast typing that to me at least was intolerable. (think fingernails on a blackboard) Second was the LED's do a crappy job illuminating the actual keys unless you really crank up the brightness, BUT then if you do so they bleed light so badly out the side of the keys it reflects distractingly in the monitor! And let's not even discuss the iCUE software which cost a star all by itself. Big letdown by Corsair... I would avoid the K95.

The Corsair K95 RGB Platinum keyboard is easily the best keyboard I have used. Pros: -Endless customization possibilities via the iCue software. I have played with it extensively and feel I've only scratched the surface of everything possible with it for lighting. Has a variety of preset patterns, limitless color options if you're feeling more like a constant solid, or you can mix it up. -The Cherry MX keys: Superb feeling in the keys while not being obnoxiously loud. Although not a productivity keyboard, still a pleasure to type on. -Build Quality: Built like a tank. Lights are very bright. The padded wrist rest is comfortable to rest on and has a nice texture to it. Even the USB connectors (there are two!) are premium with braided cords. The extra USB port on the top/front of the keyboard is a very nice touch. Programmable macro keys: 6 programmable macro keys allow you to customize. They run up the left side of the keyboard. Another design plus is the volume roller, which is placed well with the media controls. Much easier to use than volume up/down buttons. Cons: -Minor: The software, while powerful, took me a little practice to figure out. All in all, if you are a keyboard/mouse gamer, it doesn't get any better than this. The build quality, keys, features, and software all come together in a complete package here.
