Needed one more fan to match the others. Great looking fans. Get the job done.

rgb is good and i love it. this goes well with my pc. be sure you’re aware you need the kit that this goes with, buying it separately doesn’t allow the rgb to work.

Mechanically works great. Unfortunately i was unaware that you need the corsair controller for the rgb lights. Plugging it into a MOBO rgb slot the fan randomly sets to one color each time the computer signs on which can throw the rest of case scheme off if you have other lights.

These fans are really expensive for what you get. I have six of them in a 4000D. They’re loud and don’t move as much air as my wife’s 4000x, which has SP fans. They do look cool, but that’s about it. Would not recommend. SP or ML fans would be better choices.

great fans, the lights start dying out after 6 months, eventually I got annoyed and cut out the cables the turn on the lights, I just need it to spin and the older I get, the less I care for RGB...?

Corsair absolutely has a stranglehold on the RGB game. Everything Is proprietary in the world of RGB so if you plan on doing RGB in any of your builds go with Corsair to maintain single application usability.

Purchased this fan to replace factory one on my sons computer. It worked great at first now only four months later the fan is loud.

They look great when installed so you can see the ring, not so much if you have to see the output side. Used with a Commander Pro and it was still a pain having to run all the cables through the case.

Fan hub had issues since the day I bought them, bought new fan hub cause dealing with a return after building the pc is a pain. Works fine now

Decent fans besides you needing a fan hub to control the RGB. I returned it and bought the 3 pack that comes with a lighting HUB. If you already have a hub these are a good option.

Bought another one because my last one only lasted about a year. Half there rgb went dead but the fan still works

Make sure you have an rgb hub or it won’t work. Some motherboards do have a Corsair connector though

I bought this for my self-built computer build because I wanted to start doing a colorful theme. Turns out you need to buy a separate RGB fan hub from Corsair for another 10 dollars. I was quite annoyed at first but I thought I may as well buy it. Before buying the hub I did some research on where to plug it in on my motherboard (I didn't want to spend 10 dollars just to find out my motherboard isn't compatible). I found no evidence showing that my motherboard is compatible (and I could not find any plug on my motherboard that appeared to match it) so I gave up. Overall the fan still works without the RGB hub (but the LEDs don't work). It is louder than my other fans (non-RGB) which WOULD be worth it if the LEDs actually worked on the fan. If your motherboard is compatible then knock yourself out, and I totally think it's worth it, it is a great product, however, I just don't have a use for it.

we got this for my nephew and he loves it, Nice and quiet

I have bought 3 of these and had to return two for an exchange because the outer RGB ring only had light for half the ring. When it works, it looks great so I gave it 3 stars rather than one. I have many Corsair products and this is the only one that has had a quality issue.
