Bad Marketing

My only issue is the marketing for these fans. I'm building my first PC and bought these fans for the performance and the RGB. Unfortunately I feel misinformed and didn't realize these fans need an external Corsair device to use the RGB features. I'm stuck returning these fans and buying the triple pack just to have the external devices. They should advertise the individual fans as no RGB without the node and the commander devices.

Need a hub from corsair

This is an expansion fan and requires a controller for the RGB lighting. This is available in the triple pack or separately.

If you do not already have one of our lighting controllers, I suggest our fan kits - they include multiple RGB fans along with the required lighting controller. Corsair fan speed
