It's disappointing but mostly from a aesthetic standpoint, I don't notice it when I'm using it. After a month-plus of daily use (50+ hours/week), I'm noticing a little fraying of the cloth top layer around the edges. I would still recommend, especially at the $10 price point I bought it at.
